The Nut House

Looking ahead...

I  never thought at the age of 34, I would need things like a wheel chair, or around the clock meds, or an assistant to help me in and out of bed. I also never realised that how comfortable or how painful the rest of my life will be, rests on the amount of dollar bills I can collect and give to a Doctor and a Pharmisist in any given month. Talk about a reality check!
Please America, keep some savings of some kind hidden away for the "POSSIBLE" day that you may find yourself in my situation. If you don't ever need the money, then you will have a nice little savings for those golden years, but if you ever do, and it's not there, trust me when I say, you will be sorry!
I can honestly say, I now understand what people mean by the simple words "quality of life", and I can also understand why people help their loved ones with assisted suicide. Living every day, every minute, every second in pain is just NOT worth living; and the sadest part of it all, is that it is not necessary!
There are all natural cures out there, that should be available to us, but are NOT simply because the health care industry makes to much money, and the government depends on that money!
Wake up America, your lives have truly been reduced to dollars and cents!
