FORUMS: What can you find for your business and websites?

There is a wealth of information and help with in forums which can be priceless. How often do you visit a forum to ask questions, find links to information and tools which would help you more efficiently promote your business, website, and you? Are you planning to join a traffic exchange, member site, or another internet offering?

Check as much information as possible about who are they, what are they doing, how are they doing this, why are they doing this (motivation).... Member participation in the forum and their comments can give an indication of how well the program is doing.

If the program is free to join & you have checked to see that it seems to be ok; if you have the time & are interested in joining; Sign up & give it a test drive. Track as much as possible your advertising & recruiting results so that you will know how compatable or how combatable this program is with your business plans.

Visit the forum often: read to learn as much as possible about promoting this program & related information. Post to the forum for answers to questions you may have. The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask. I have saved alot of time & effort by asking questions. Much better to have an answer that makes your work easier & faster instead of waisting hours trying to figure things out by yourself.

Did you know that many people dream of being published authors? Getting published is not easy to do if you go to a publishing company. There is alot of compatition. The other possibility is for you to publish your material by funding this expense yourself; expensive proposition with no guarantees. Poof! Dream goes up in smoke!!

BooHoo; Guess I'm not going to be a published author. WRONG! Very, very wrong! Join a forum, practice your writing skills so that you can effectively communicate using the written word, remember to proof read what you write in the forum, check your spelling, & do this on a regular basis. You will be helping people by answering their questions (only answer questions you have knowledge of for that subject), you will gain confidence & your writing will flow easier with less struggle, & as you get better at this you will probably join another forum where you can post & help more people.

What is the point of posting in a forum regulary? After posting for a while do a search of your name & then a search of your user name. If you have used your name & user name in your signature (Vivian Paff) (vpbanjo) like this Vivian Paff (vpbanjo) or linked them together some-how regularly, then you should see entries in the search enginges a little at a time as you hone your writing skills & get familiar with posting in different forums.

Please don't misunderstand, this will take work & dedication. After you feel comfortable in the forums, look at some blogs to get an idea about what they are & how they are written. This is a logical next step. And a giant step to get yourself branded on the internet. I'm getting ahead of myself. this being branded on the internet, blogging, writing stuff will be written about here in a later blog. :-( Please don't be disappointed.

Usually the forum owners have their content & members content automatically; becuase of their posts in the forum; copy writen. People on the net read what you write in the forum. Now you have an easy access platform for your interested readers. Your writings, your readers, you're a published author.
