Do Mammograms cause cancer?

In reading this month's issue of The Douglas Report I read about the issue
of mammograms being responsible for spreading breast cancer.

You'd be hard pressed to find a woman in this country (USA) who hasn't been conned into geting a routine mammogram. And yes, I mean conned, Mammograms are touted as the best form of early detection for breast cancer. But in reality, getting one actually increases the risk of spreading the cancer if its present. Back in 1994, The Lancetpublished a study saying that breast compression "could cause small tumors to burst open and thus spread the cancer throughout the body." Don't American doctors read The Lancet? Its only the best medical journal in the world!

Now, I have always felt that mammograms were barbaric to say the least, and now we know that they are also dangerous! The routine mammogram is just another scare tactic to get as many women as possible to buy into the system, thus lining the pockets of the prescribers, hospitals, mammogram machine makers and anyone else down the line.

In using the "raise breast cancer awareness" tactic, they keep thinking up ways to keep an impressionable public pouring money into the "System".

On top of this finding, the danger of radiation expsoure is tremendous, take a look at the article found on this website: it will really get you to thinking about the TRUE dangers associated with mammograms. Here you will be presented with several articles pertaining to breast cancer and mammography and some alternatives.

I for one don't EVER plan on getting a mammogram again! I just want YOU to be aware of the facts and dangers.
