What's a good software program for Mac that I can use to make music?

I've heard of FrootyLoops and Reason, which one is the best for making music, generally using samples and loops. Im a beginner at this, so probably something not too technical quite yet. I have a Mac, too.

Garageband sucks, in my personal opinion. I use Reason 4.0, it is INCREDIBLY powerful, with sythesizers, loop players, samplers, arpeggiators, and tons and tons of options. Full automation capabilities, change any parameter on anything you want. You can actually use it as a tool to make the music that you hear in your head, without compromise. It is a difficult program, but there are tons of tutorials, the operating maunual is great, and the only thing it is missing is audio recording capabilities. I personally will answer any questions you have about it, just email me. I suggest you get Reason.

How do i get music on my windows movie maker?

Be sure that its the correct codec (not all of them work properly). Another way is to try to convert the audio file to an mp3 or wma (if it isn't already).

The best way: USE ANOTHER MOVIE EDITOR!
I suggest using Sony Vegas Movie studio (they have 4 different kinds, the cheapest is about $50 and does a lot more than windows movie maker) It takes a little to get used to, but once your used to it, you'd be greatful.

How do I get my video clips to open in Media Player by default?

Q:Somehow, I managed to mess up the default so that they now open in another program. How do I fix this without changing each clip's individual default?
A:You didn't say what OS you have, but try this:Right-click the file and select "Open With", select the program in the list or, if the one you want isn't there, browse to it and select it.Make sure the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" check box is checked.
