Things to Help You

I FAILED and It's YOUR Fault

You know it is somewhat funny (in a sad sort of way) the way we as humans perceive and react too many things. Take for instance when we trip what do we do? We get up look down at the imaginary obstacle that made us trip. Then we look around to see if anyone else noticed us. Many times, we will even kick the object in question because by kicking it we have shown that is was not our fault we tripped.

Accountability is something that we as people have a hard time dealing with because sometimes we have to face our weakness.

Normally I am a pro and avoiding facing my weakness but then it hit me square between the eyes what had been keeping me from doing well in some of my business ventures. Now do not get me wrong there are (in some cases) plain bad businesses out there and that is a fact. There are however some that are good. My problem was either I hooked up with scams or if I had a good business I failed at, I blamed everything from my up-line to the business for my failures.

You guessed it, my up-line and the business was my imaginary obstacle. I just could not admit it was (Me, Myself and I) causing my failure.  So I would kick my up-line, I would kick my business then look around to see if anyone was watching so I could show them it was NOT MY FAULT.

I cannot tell you the shock I felt when the people I mingle with now held up a (truth) mirror and stood beside me as I gazed into the depths of who I was in the past.

What I saw in that mirror was a person with a lot to give but did not give it, I saw a person that would fail then blame anything and everything but herself for that failure.

Now this mirror shows the whole truth so it does not just stop at the bad points. This mirror also showed me that I was not giving (not because I did not want to) but because I did not know how.

Seeing that person in the mirror made me wonder how I came to be the person I am now. Now I am a person when she trips just laughs it off rather than kicking imaginary obstacles. I am accountable for my tripping.

The greatest thing I have gained is the friendship of those people that held up the (truth) mirror for me. They let me know that stumbling is okay as long as you always get back up and stay on the path to your business agenda.

If you already have those kind of friends hang on to them they are few and far in between. If you need that kind of commitment from your friends then I would like for you to join me I will share mine with you.

Your friends are those you cultivate and keep over time. In our business, it pays to make friends first before you try to sell. Then you have a friend for a lifetime.
