More football, and etc.

Everyone in Wis is smiling today.  Thank you, Packers!

It dims the e.coli, the state our nation is in, the war, the hassle on the airplanes, the fact that we may, in our generation, probably suffer another attack.  It doesn't make it go away, but when your favorite team wins, it puts a little sunshine in your life.

Life truly is too short to have man-made problems.  I've got a cousin who is in his 40's and dying of cancer.  He's got hospice now, no more chemo, in the last stages.  His wife has diabetis and ms, so is trying to cope with her cane & wobbling around.

These are things that should concern us all, and our prayers are needed.  Unfortunatelt, we also have to be wary of our human enemies, those who want to kill us and themselves because we don't share their beliefs.  I don't think we should be in this war, but then, it's not my decision.

God bless us all, and please be good to each other, guys.

Football

In Wisconsin we are waiting for the Packers to perhaps have a win today.  I remember as a child, it was the time of day the malls were filled with women and children shoppers.  Times have changed; the women and children are glued to the tv sets as well.  Our city streets are deserted while the Packers "do their thing."

Packers vs Bears

By the time you read this, you will know the answer.  Will our Packers beat Da Bears today?  Will Da Bears be over confident?   Will Bret's team get some lucky breaks?  I'll be watching!
