Success in Marketing

2006-02-25 Posted at 03:23:04 PM

According to  here’s a recap of steps you need to start your life as a successful entrepreneur:

  •  Develop a total positive attitude.

  • Determine exactly what you want to do.

  • Search engine (for opportunities)
  • “Due Diligence” investigation
  • Look for a business idea that interests you.
  • Make a list of things you are willing to do
  • Find how you are paid.
  • Proceed to get started.
  • Make a simple plan outlining things you must do
  • Develop a marketing plan (use it first to see if your business is something people want and will buy, then as an ongoing blueprint for promoting your business)

Some carry a cost while others are available free. Use those you need to be successful. If one thing does not work for you, try something else. Do not be discouraged. NEVER QUIT!

Deciding to develop your own business because you want to control your own life and provide products and services that will benefit others as well as provide income for you is a good first step, but you must believe your products will help others in some way.

Your first action should be to determine exactly what you want to do; no matter how lucrative and exciting a business may be, if you aren’t completely absorbed by it you will be less than successful. It must involve activities you can perform and that make you feel comfortable. If you are ill-at-ease selling face-to-face, stay clear of any direct selling business where you knock on doors or conduct meetings. You won’t do something you don’t like. Stay positive and find something you like; there are many opportunities out there. Yours will turn up if you look in the right places.

Wondering where you can find a business opportunity?   Your simple marketing plan will have served its initial purpose of determining if your idea has any market demand. Now use it to acquire as many customers as you can. The way you decide to market determines how you promote your business and this will determine your degree of success.

When taken with a good affiliate program, such as SFI, IAHBE is what I call a true business-in-a-box. You have everything in one place as a going concern. You just have to promote it in some way. SFI has all the training you need and other business tools like leads, banners, and gateway websites.
