Little Things Add Up

2005-08-28 Posted at 01:29:15 PM

Do you realize that if you accomplish 3 things (tasks) a day in one month you will have done 90 things and in one year 1095 tasks will have been completed.

These tasks don't have to be large, and they may not take more than 5 or 10 minutes - things like sending a thank you or congratulations letter to a friend, making a phone call, writing a couple of pages on that book you want to finish, designing an ad or a new webpage, calling a friend you haven't seen for a while and having lunch.

As you accomplish and check off three things, you may get the urge to accomplish more and that's ok.  You just have to make sure to ACT on your plans.  As Winston Churchill once said, "There are plenty of good ideas if only they can be backed with the power of action."  Although goals and strategies are very important, the greatest plans in the world won't amount to a hill of beans without action!!

As Benjamin Disraeli said, "Action does not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action."

If one of your goals is to write a book, why not make this one of your three things?  Check out this site - How To Write A Book in 14 Days.  http://www.writeabooknow.com/welcome/write3440now

What 3 things will you accomplish today???

The Importance of Maintaining Momentum

2005-08-07 Posted at 10:33:01 PM

I recently came across this article by Henry Gold and thought that even though it is a little bit dated (it was just a few weeks after Ronald Reagan's death), the message was one that bears repeating.

One of the things that spoke to me in this article was this: "

The truth is that you can have everything you want in life by listing it on a piece of paper, and working on it in the time you have available."

"Reach for your dream, and accomplish it with a happy heart and smile, like Ronald Reagan, like Mike Filsaime, Russell Brunson, Jason Mangrum, or even Henry Gold. You will never lose your momentum, and you will never regret when you reach the end of your life."

I hope you enjoy this article.

Never Lose Your Momentum
By: Henry Gold

Three weeks after returning from Los Angeles, I
have finally got back on track again.

I am able to stay focused and have returned to my
regular schedule I had before my 21 days stay in
Los Angeles.

It took me 90 hours per week in order to maintain
my momentum, during which time I barely had time to
sleep or enjoy my weekend like everybody else.

I kept feeling that if I didn't work hard now, I
wouldn't be able to keep up with another marketers
like Mike Filsaime, Russell Brunson, or even Jason
Mangrum.

They work at least 50 - 60 hours a week to create
new products, new customers, new niche (target
markets) in this gold rush opportunity.

When I asked those marketers, what made them work
so hard,

Mike Filsaime said, "It's my working spirit to stay
awake at 3:00 am and keep working harder."

Russell Brunson said, "Life is full of adventures."

Jason Mangrum said, "It's ok to work hard because
I enjoy it, and I am still too young to stop
working."

And if you ask me, Henry Gold, I will say, "If you
want to become an Internet Marketer, either you
become the best one, or don't become one at all."

All of the marketers that I know are enjoying their
business and what they do. They treat their
business as a fun thing, as well as a great
adventure in their lives.

=> So, how do you see yourself? <=

Many subscribers come up to me and say,

"Henry, I can't do this, it's too much to handle."
"I can't afford to lose."
"I can't take risks"
"I am not like you, a very talented person."

etc, etc.

Well, I have to tell you today...

"These are excuses. This is your past conditioning.
This is the little voice that robs you from
achieving your goal."

Think about it this way. When I came back from
Los Angeles, I barely breathed fresh air outside my
house. I stayed in my office working harder and
harder trying to finish one project after another.

I barely saw the sunlight. I barely enjoyed the
beach close to my house. I barely slept at night
just to get back on track.

For more than three weeks, I kept working harder
and harder trying to finish one project after
another, several of which are still not completed.

I am tired, but I believe that this is the only way
I can expand my business. This is the only way I
can become more successful than I am now.

You may say, "Whatever, Henry...., I don't care"

My friend, I apologize if this makes you envy my
accomplishments, but that is not my intention.

You see, every one has their own desire to become
very successful.

And I know you do too!!

But you must know that by continually hoping that
something or someone external will fulfil your
dream, you are just wasting your time.

Everyone knows exactly what they would like to have
and what they would like to achieve in their lives.

So, why not chase your dream, why not make it
realistic, why not play with your game plan and
take action right away...

Instead of....

"Henry, if I wanted to, I could be better than you."

"Henry, if I had enough time, I could be more
successful than you."

Why do you have to use the word "IF...."

The truth is that you can have everything you want
in life by listing it on a piece of paper, and
working on it in the time you have available.

You can get more time, by turning off your Television.
You can get more time, by turning off your Cell Phone.
You can get more time, by sleeping 2 hours less.
You can get more time, by doing your business on
the weekend.
You can get more time, by stopping complaining you
don't have time.

These are all the times that you can use to work
harder on your game plan, instead of complaining
about how eager you are to become successful online,
IF you have time.

Let me ask you this one more question," How much
longer do you have in this world?"

"Based on the statistics, we only have an average
life span of 65 years, and if you are very
healthy, you can live a little beyond that."

So, think about it this way....

If you're 35 years old, and you are wasting 2004,
by continually making excuses that you don't have
enough time to reach your dream.... you're wasting
1 year of your life with nothing gained.

It means you only have 29 years to keep dreaming.

It's very sad if you are one of those people that I
mentioned above, don't you agree?

As Internet Marketers, we don't want to stop
working harder because we know that we don't want
to waste even 1 year by becoming miserable,
anxious, or worried.

We know that the moment we stop working, the less
chance we have to achieve our goals.

Let me give you one last example....

Former U.S. President, Ronald Reagan, past away
last week, at the age of 93. Everybody remembers
him, as the best President, who won the cold war
without fighting a war.

During his presidency, he worked extremely hard,
and maximized his efforts to make the U.S. the
best country in the world.

When he past away, last week, Ronald Reagan died
with a smile on his face. He did the best in his
lifetime to make his dreams came true.

In the past,...

He was just a movie star who became California's
Governor, then became the oldest president to be
elected in U.S. history.

I am sure he had NO REGRETS since he accomplished
so many things in his lifetime. Things that most
of us wont ever achieve in our lifetime.

So, why waste your time on something that will
NEVER get you where you want to go?

Reach for your dream, and accomplish it with a
happy heart and smile, like Ronald Reagan, like
Mike Filsaime, Russell Brunson, Jason Mangrum, or
even Henry Gold.

You will never lose your momentum, and you will
never regret when you reach the end of your life.

Remember: By wasting your time, you're losing your
momentum, you're getting further away from your
dreams of having your own beach house, your own
l'uxury car, and your own office in a high-rise
building downtown, etc.

John Carlton - Rebel Rant

2005-08-02 Posted at 07:39:11 PM

I am kicking myself halfway to Sunday!!  I have been sitting on a GOLD MINE without realizing it.

A few days ago I got an email about a terrific opportunity and I thought, wait a minute, I’ve heard that name before.  Sure enough, I dug into my archives and unearthed a collection of bad ass material that I just spent the past three days immersed in --  A full year of John Carlton’s Rebel Rant.  And the things I learned just from reading those monthly newsletters are why I’m kicking myself now.

I could have put so many of these ideas into practice IF ONLY I had stopped to read what I downloaded.  Has this happened to you???  Don’t miss out this time.  PAY ATTENTION to what John Carlton has to tell you.

Haven’t heard about him?  Then read the article written by Mark Landstrom -  “Who The Hell Is John Carlton?”  You can also pick up the article on Dan Kennedy’s website.  And, BELIEVE ME, if you are into marketing and haven’t heard about him, YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF to rush over there now to find out more about him.

John is currently making an almost unbelievable offer of his book, “Kick-Ass Copywriting Secrets Of A Marketing Rebel” – An “insider” shortcut guide to creating sensational ads that will supercharge your business, your wealth, and your life…even if you flunked English!”

Now, not only is John offering to share his secret weapons with you, he is also offering you an opportunity to obtain a subscription to his Rebel Rant.  (By the way, I just want you to know that I am not making a penny out of this information.  I am not an affiliate, but like John says, “If you’re serious about your business, this is must-read material…”

Gary Halbert says, “If your success relies on advertising, you need to own John Carlton’s hand-holding, step-by-step shortcut to massive results!”

BELIEVE THEM.  This is the goods!  “This Is The ONLY Place You’ll Learn How Proven World-Class Copywriters Really Use Hooks, Killer Salesmanship, The Function of Seduction And Operation Moneysuck…”

But don’t wait too long to take advantage of his offer to help you find the right secrets and the right guide.  John offers to take you by the hand, answer all your questions…and show you exactly how to do it, step-by-step, as fast as humanly possible”.    John promises that “you will be stunned by how fast the money starts pouring in.”

I am on my way to get my special deal ….how about you???

Fran

P.S.  If you want to get your hands on John’s first year of Rebel Rant, he has a special deal for you right here, but let me warn you, you will be so hooked that you might want to put the coffee on intravenous!!!

For copies of his first year of ranting - http://www.marketingrebelrant.com/

For your own subscription -
http://www.marketingrebelrant.com/index2.html

MAN O MAN……you are going to have yourself a WILD TIME when you get your hands on all of this stuff!!!!

P.P.S.  If you get really, really brave, and don’t really want ANY SLEEP AT ALL, you could also check out some of Gary Halbert’s Marketing Letters over here  http://www.thegaryhalbertletter.com/newsletter-archives.htm
