Building List Marketing: How to Network Like a Pro

Welcome to all you royal subjects out there. After a brief vacation stint, the king is back again to entertain you and hopefully shed some light on this thing we call internet marketing. Although I thoroughly enjoyed vacation, the challenge of returning to blogging and building my work at home business calls.

Building list marketing is an essential to building your work at home business and here's why. The majority of internet marketers do not use it regularly as they should and often take the wrong approach of trying the direct approach of selling their product or service. As a result, they waste valuable leads and fail to develop a natural market for their business.

Building list marketing requires using lead capture pages to capture leads and then has an automatic audience response system. This is typically an auto-responder that sends messages on your behalf but that is only the half of it. You must make a connection with your prospect and then build a trust relationship so they develop confidence in you. This is the niche a work at home business needs to develop in order to stay competitive.

Often the phone is used but instant messengers such as Yahoo, Skype, MSN and others can be great tools. Make the habit of putting your leads into your IM and proceed to initiate contact. Conversation should be natural and flowing and always centered around what your prospect wants or needs. This means taking a questioning approach so you can discover what that is and then introducing them to possible solutions.

Since email is a major tool, strive to keep your lists clean. Always confirm and use only double opt-in list techniques to insure that only people who want to hear from you are on your list. Communicate frequently and often and don't give up too soon on prospects. Often it will require several contacts before they are ready to purchase or take recommendations from you.

Building list marketing is a great tool but networking with prospects is the real magic behind making it work. Keep them talking and happy and you will see great results from it.

Playing Traffic Cop: Learning Search Engine Optimization

We finally got rain here in Alabama! You would think that it's a national celebration of some sort from the way people are just out playing in the stuff.
