"Learn the Insider Secrets that I used to make OVER $1,000,000 in commissions last year"

It is a dry hot day while Bill lackadaisically watches the traffic go by on the main road. He came here to break free from the daily chores of a job, and this seemed a good investment. According to those in the know he should quite comfortably make a easy living.

What was not mentioned, nor thought of by him, was how many others are there doing the same thing. So every day now he faces Sam on the other side of the main road, doing exactly what he is doing.

Bill and Sam are both selling the same coolers, and if you are around here everyone needs one.

Every now and again a car pulls in at Bill's place having a look around, but being the shy person that he is, he just leaves them to their own devices hoping silently that they would buy.
They look and they leave. Maybe one day he will see them again, and then again, maybe not.

One morning, as Bill opens up for business he notices a truck that had just pulled off the road at Sam's entrance. After watching the commotion of the people getting out of the truck he suddenly realizes what is happening, Sam is putting up a huge signboard announcing his presence.

As the days go by Bill sees his drizzle of traffic becoming less and less, all heading off to Sam. On the other side of the road.

Quietly staring across to Sam's, Bill thinks by himself whatever made him decide on this, should he call it quits. But with the amount he had already invested it would be a bitter pill to swallow.

In a last ditch effort Bill decides to follow suit. Put up a bigger board than Sam.

Geared up with his new plan he heads off to the powers that be and after looking at all the figures he comes to the cold realization that a board like Sam's will cost a small fortune, and that just to get more people who may not even buy.

He will have to sell a lot to just cover expenses, let alone make a profit.

After looking at all the alternatives he decides on a smaller board.. At the price it better work or he will be in the big city looking for a job soon, back from whence he came.
'Has my dream become my nightmare', he thinks to himself as he heads back. There is such a lot of traffic, if he could just get a little.

The board is up but the traffic only trickles in. Those that do stop stay only for a brief period and they drive off again. On the odd occasion one would buy, but the cost of that board far exceeds the profits.

One morning upon awakening it happens, in a flash of brilliance!

Scraping his last money together he buys a cheap fridge, fills it up with coke, changes the signboard to read “Free Ice Cold Coke”.

Very soon his dusty entrance road has more traffic than what it can handle.

An ice cold coke is always welcome in these parts, especially with the heat as it is. So more and more turn off to visit, and they stay for a while enjoying the refreshing drink before continuing on their journey. Many of them then also buy a cooler.

Bill decided to put his shyness into his pocket, and spoke to the visitors and before they left he asked them for their business cards and if he could call on them. To his surprise there were many more yes answers than no.

From now on Bill is remembered as the guy who gave them a cold coke on a hot day, just what they needed at that moment in time. He gave his visitors a reason to remember him, a reason to stay for a while and sold his product in the process. A few weeks later Sam's board was taken down, and Sam left, back to the city.

So how does Bill's story relate to you as an internet marketer?

Give your visitors a reason to stay for a while.

  • Your bonus or giveaway should relate to your product and to your advertisement.
  • Your offer must make a lasting impression, they must remember you. Give them exactly what they need in that moment in time, find the flash of brilliance, even if it costs a small investment.
  • If you give something away as a gift ask for their email in exchange, if you don't you will never see them again.
  • You must build up a relation with your visitors so that you are able to contact them at a later stage, or even follow up with a new offer.
  • You are the only one who will know what your visitors want, make it worth their while receiving it and they wont mind further communication from you.
  • Create a trust relationship and they will actually open and read your emails.

If your board is up and you are paying for it you must give your visitors what they are expecting, and you will receive what you are expecting.

So what is your offer?

If you are an affiliate marketer drive in and have a refreshing moment.

How To Set Up Your Squeeze Page
10:43:24 AM - 2006-04-23

Easily Build Profit Generating Lists

We are all working our buts off, or so we think, trying to make a living or an extra income on the internet. Many of you are affiliate marketers promoting someone else's products, through your web pages, websites or PPC campaigns.

I am quite sure you have heard by now that you have to use squeeze pages in your marketing efforts. You may, or may not, have given it a look or a thought, but few have implemented this marketing tool.

Why?

It is extra work, you are very busy just getting your ads to work never mind tracking, doing split testing and priming every other ad to get the best results for your money. Which of course is the way to do it.

But think for a moment, if you could half this work, take 25% off your costs, and still make 25% to 50% more profit, would you be interested?

That is the beauty of squeeze pages also known as landing pages. At the beginning you will have to put more time and effort in creating and refining them, but once you've got it all up and running you can certainly expect more profits.

The basic purpose of a squeeze page is to gather email addresses and build your list. The list is where the money is, all successful internet marketers will tell you that.

By building a list through squeeze pages you will gain the knowledge of who the people are that are interested in a specific type of product or service.

So the next time you market a new product in this line, you already have interested people who can easily become customers.

So you see, the squeeze page is an essential tool in any marketers arsenal of marketing armory.

Now let's look at the elements of a squeeze page.

  • The all important heading. It has the same purpose here as on a sales page, you have to catch the attention of the reader to read on.

  • A sub-heading leading your prospect into the page.

  • A short sales message containing 5 to 10 benefits of the product you are promoting.

  • A submission form where he or she can enter their details.

  • After submission they are taken to the sales page.

So,. how am I going to write a sales letter on my page asking for a name and email address?

The best way of going about this is to offer something for free, a report, ebook, some useful software, subscription to a newsletter, anything relating to the product you are selling.

Lets look at an example of a squeeze page for a new keyword analyzing software program.

In Search Of That Perfect Keyword Phrase Getting All The Sales?

How would you feel if I told you now you can:

  • Find out how many others are using the same word you are aiming at.

  • Know what they are paying in an instant.

  • What you should bid to rank first.

  • Know which phrases have the best sales conversion rates.

  • And which keywords are just going to cost you money.

Get yourself in the FIRST place in the race for sales, and easily beat the top guns at their own game.

Just fill in your details to receive weekly tips on keyword analysis and how it can increase your sales. You will then immediately be redirected to 'Name Of Your Product'.

A very valid argument is that if I have a squeeze page that is not well written, a person landing on the page might just leave the entire site and could have purchased if he or she was sent straight to the sales page.

There is however a way around this problem. If you feel uncertain about your writing or asking someone to give you their email address, just add a button with text below the form saying something like 'click here to go directly to the product page'.

Be assured though that by building your list will ensure more customers and sales for your products.

It will also give you the opportunity to get to know and communicate with your subscribers.

Don't obliterate them with product emails every day, only send them quality products addressing their specific needs, that you either use yourself, or know is good, and write a small review on how it has helped you solving a certain problem.

Long term good relations with your subscribers will turn into good long term good relationships with paying clients.

Adsense, How Much Are You Generating?
11:02:52 AM - 2006-04-15

Find The Right Keywords

It is a wonderful autumn day, the leaves on the trees are turning yellow and as you walk toward your front gate you see the postcard perfect scene playing out down the street. Happy children enjoying the beginnings of life with a seemingly careless attitude to what the future holds, life is all in this moment. Is this a feeling that you can vividly remember from your childhood days?

You open your postbox and see your Google Adsense cheque has arrived, excitedly you open the crumpled envelope wondering why the postman had been so careless with your valuable asset. This month you have reached the four figure sum, and you know it will look like that for months to come.

It is a good feeling isn't it? For most internet marketers however it is a three figure sum every few months. So why is that?

Adsense ads on your web pages have become a huge income generating and profitable enterprise for many a web master and site owner. There has been proof of five figure sums being paid and four figure sums have become a regular occurrence. But to most of us it seems to be a dream that only others can achieve. We are only receiving crumbs falling from the kings table, if any.

To make money with Adsense ads, the ads need to be seen. To get them seen you need traffic to your website, lots of traffic.

Ok, so lets get to the crux of the matter, how do you get paid that seemingly illusive four figure sum for your Adsense ads.

Find and determine the top paying keywords within a niche, like with sales, if you aim for the broad keywords you will be lost in cyberspace never to be seen. Rather take the dog for a walk than trying to achieve this.

You receive traffic to your site, and make it profitable by generic searches from the search engines. That in effect means you need your pages to rank high and get top 10 positions in generic searches.

Once you have found the high paying keyword phrase you must optimize your page for the Google Adsense display.
High paying keywords means they are highly sought after, I think we all get that, trying to optimize your page for that keyword phrase in a generic search engine placement is suicidal to say the least, you will not get into the top 10, unless you already have a page there which means you are already optimized for this phrase.

Think of this as a dual setup, if I can say it like that. Find a niche phrase where you are able to rank high, which is related to the phrase you want your Adsense ads to appear.

Lets do this with an example to make it more understandable.

Take the broad search term “internet marketing” and see which keyword phrase pays the highest for clicks.

“Expert internet marketing” comes up at the top where advertisers are paying between $13 and $16 per click. The term, according to Overture, receives 2474 searches per month, take that times seven, and you have the approximate Google searches per month.

Type the search term into Google and you will see that the term pops up with nearly 80 million other sites. The PR rankings for the first ten results vary from 7 to 5. The top 6 sites don't even run Adsense ads.
You can try and aim for the top 10 position for that search term, but with a new page I would rather have a highly intellectual chat with the dog, you will get the same result.

So how do you get clicks on these high paying terms.

You optimize for a high ranking in one search term, and you optimize another keyword phrase for Adsense to get the top paying keywords. Thats it in a nutshell.

Lets have a look for a related term to our Adsense phrase. With a related term search for “expert internet marketing” the keyword term “kjhsdksfd” came up.
A search in Google returned a total of 1480 results showing up as “Ebay auction or kjhsdksfd” in the main heading.
The most interesting fact is that this term was searched in Overture 1231 times in the last month. Now take that figure times seven and you have the approximate Google search results. That means there are more than 5000 searches per month for this term, and it is related to our keyword phrase from Google Adsense.
The pages in the top 10 results have a PR ranking from 2 to 0 which means that if we do some good page optimization you can easily rank in the top ten.
If you get just 100 visitors clicking on your Adsense ad, imagine what your income will be!

To set up your page you could follow these guidelines:

Your title tag should read “kjhsdksfd | expert internet marketing | ebay”
This will cover all the bases for your search terms

“expert internet marketing resources and ideas, where and how to find, maximize your ebay income, kjhsdksfd”
In the description meta tag

“kjhsdksfd, expert internet marketing, ebay” in your meta keyword tag

“ kjhsdksfd Or Ebay Auctions And Internet Marketing Ideas” in your “H1” tag

“expert internet marketing resources and ideas to assist you in driving more targeted traffic to your site and increasing your ebay income” in your “H2” heading.

Write your own article, or mix more than two PLR articles to about 400 words. Use the term kjhsdksfd about 3 times, the phrase “expert internet marketing” about 4 to 5 times and ebay 2 times. Spread them evenly throughout the text, not all in one paragraph.

Place two or three Google Adsense blocks within your page.

By optimizing your page in this manner you can get a top ranking for your search keyword term in Google, and you already know this is a searched term, and you have optimized your page to display Google Adsense ads for a high paying phrase “internet marketing expert”.

That is on-page optimization, for off-page you will need some links. Find related pages and look for about ten related back links to your site.

Do this for all your pages within your different niches to maximize your Adsense income.

This is a lot of work to do for just one page, but if you want the top paying keywords to be clicked on your pages, you need to put in the effort, and you will be rewarded handsomely.

First things first, get the dog a nice juicy bone, and take yourself for a walk, get some fresh air and set your mind in motion again. Experience that childhood feeling of living in the moment.

Google, To Be Or Not To Be
09:43:48 AM - 2006-04-08

Tired Of Wasting Time Looking For The Perfect Keywords? Get Keword Elite

It is late afternoon as the sun is slowly setting, you are lying comfortably on your beach chair watching the waves and your sipping a pina colada with one foot in the sand. A gentle breeze is bristles through the palm trees keeping you cool.
You have two waiters at your beck and call, and another on standby for just in case.

Next to you the dachshund is comfortably in his own chair with the latest branded dog sunglasses, watching the French poodles go by, thinking, “If my legs were just a little longer”.

The laptop by your side connected to the Internet via satellite, announces every few minutes with the all too familiar sound that yet another payment has been made into your account.

The utopia we would all like to be in, on autopilot, doing the thing we desire.

Now close your eyes and imagine yourself there.

If the Internet business was as easy as it is sometimes made out to be we would all be on that beach. Thinking about it, it will become quite a crowded beach, so we will have to build some high rise buildings to get the view, and before long we will have another city with everything we tried to get away from...

For most of us that utopia is our room or office and the view is mostly the computer screen. Pina colada's are replaced by coffee, but the dog is still in the same frame of mind. But honestly, nothing stops us from taking that holiday, I would however suggest leaving the laptop at home.

If you are reading this I assume you are a Internet marketer fighting your way through the dense jungle of cyberspace to get your spot on the beach.

This is a hard slog as the Internet is growing and changing daily and there is no surefire way of achieving top status and then just staying there, sorry if I just ruined your lifetime dream of a permanent beach vacation.

Making money on the Internet is as easy and as hard as it gets. Here are some tips on web promotion if you intend to get to the top.

There are three ways to drive traffic to your site:

1.Buy traffic, with PPC, banners, and so on.
2.Generic searches through the search engines.
3.Articles.

The first method is simple if you have enough cash to throw around, but I do believe that that is not the case with most of us.
A well planned and executed strategy with advertising has it's rewards and can be very profitable but most marketers go about it the wrong way, you just don't put ads up and expect people to buy. It just does not work that way and that is why so many startup Internet ventures fail.

Method two is a longer term method, but if done correctly you will be able to sip some pina colada's on the beach while all the others are stuck in traffic.

Web Promotion is the best route to follow for sustained long term success.

You have to get your website seen by the major search engines, and you have to get ranked well in order to be found by people who are surfing. The main idea is to rank well in Google, but I guess you know this by now.

To get a top ranking in Google the following needs to happen:

1.Your site has to be indexed.
2.You must have links.
3.Your web pages have to be optimized and search engine friendly.

You are competing with millions of other sites and getting to the top is a difficult task for anyone.

This you might not believe, but you can do it for free, or close to, the only difference is that it will take longer to achieve your goal. By the way 24 hours is not the goal, more like 4 to 6 weeks is a good estimate.

Lets work backward from point 3 to 1.

Web Promotion: On Page Optimization

Follow these steps to optimize your page:

1.The page has to have a title within the title tags 'TITLE'.
2.The title must be relevant to your page.
3.Use your keywords in the title.
4.Choose 2 to 3 keyword phrases for your keywords, not a million.
5.Use overture search to find the right keyword phrases and check them in Google.
6.Choosing the wrong phrases will never get you ranked, when starting out aim low, 1000 to 2000 searches per month.
7.Your heading must contain your main keyword phrase and must be in the 'H1' tag.
8.You must have a sub heading containing your second or third keyword phrase and it must be in the 'H2' tag
9.Your content must contain your keyword phrases, one per two paragraphs, don't overdo it, Google will see this as spamming.
10.In your content bold each keyword phrase once with the 'b' tag.
11.Make sure your main keyword phrase appears in the last 25 words in your body text.
12.Your content should be original, and shouldn't be less than 500 words.

In a seashell that is the basics of what you should do to optimize your page.

Web Promotion: Links

For Google however, off page optimization is the most important feature to determine your rank. This is nothing else than links to your site. This is the factor that determines the importance of your site.

Thousands of links will mean nothing to you, you have to get links that are relevant to your site and your site content. Choose your links wisely because unrelated links will count against you.
You can use link farms but be very careful it can easily come back and hit you in the face.

There are two ways of getting good relevant links to your site:

1.Find websites that are similar to yours and email the web masters and ask for a link.
2.Write articles.

By writing articles you get two distinct advantages:

1.You will generate web traffic from your resource box in the article, anyone who reads it can click through to your site.
2.You will receive relevant links to your site from each website that publishes your article.

Web Promotion: Indexing

Last but not at all least, you will only turn up in a Google search once your site has been indexed.

Getting your site indexed basically boils down to your links, if you have links pointing to your site, Google will follow those links from other sites find your site and index it.
Again writing and publishing articles for web promotion purposes is the cheapest and best route to take.
If you need your site to be indexed faster, you are able to get indexed in 24 hours or 2 days.
For a 24 hour index you must have a link from a PR7 page, and for a 2 days index a link from a PR6 page.
There are sites where you can purchase these links if you are really in a hurry.

These methods, shortly described here are the basics of getting a better life for the dog, some really good looking French poodles, and some relaxation time for you on the beach.

You can read more on writing and submitting your articles by following the link in the resource box.

Never stop dreaming!

Staring At The Empty Page
08:06:13 AM - 2006-04-03

Take Your Own Time Back!
Beat The Competition Lying Down

You are gazing out the window of your room, the curtains still half drawn slightly bulging from the gentle breeze. It is a picturesque spring day, mid morning. You turn back from your gaze that seemed to last but only a moment.

The harsh reality hits you square between the eyes, you have to write this new page or article before you to can enjoy this day.

Only problem is you have been staring at the blank page for the last two hours trying to come up with the perfect, or as close to it idea. Another hour passes as you have two cups of coffee, some biscuits, a chat with the dog, pacing up and down the passage, and still you have not come up with a single word.

There is truth in the statement that you cannot turn your creativity on and off as you please, a few lucky ones can but for the most of us it is rather an impossible task.

Next time you need to come up with something new and fresh follow these steps and they will lead you to getting your idea written.

  • Pick a word for your topic, any word that relates to your idea or product at this point in time.

  • Go to your overture keyword tool and type in your word. sift through the results and choose five keyword phrases that describes your idea more clearly than the single word you wrote down.

  • Sit back relax and think over it for a while, maybe even get another cup of coffee. The important thing now is not to try and rush the writing, if you do you will just have to do it all over again, have patience.

  • When you come back jot down some ides that relate to your subject and scramble the phrases you wrote down around.
These will become your main themes.

  • Open Google search and click on the advanced search. The reason for using advanced search is that it will return good results unlike a normal web search where you have to filter through piles of pages before you get to what you are interested in. This type of search will save you a lot of time.

  • Getting ideas off the top of your head is not always that easy so we will find a ways to help us. This is a good way to go about finding information if you have no idea what words to put into a sentence let alone write 800 word article about it..

  • Type each of your main themes, words or keyword phrases into the tool. Set it to show 10 results. Open the sites one by one and firstly determine if what you see is relevant to what you want to write. If so read through the content once or twice and take out the main elements or ideas you find to be important to your article.

  • Go through all ten. You will find that only about half will be relevant to you. You will probably also come across ideas or information you never even thought of in the first place, which is a huge bonus for a little work.

  • As you research write the ideas or headings for ideas down in your document. Don't worry what it looks like at this stage just keep on going.

  • Once you have finished with the research, give yourself a break just to clear your mind. Take a walk with the dog, talk to the trees and plants and in so doing amuse the neighbors. At least they now have something to talk about.

  • Go back to your computer and start sorting the info you wrote down, don't rewrite yet, first cut and paste in the page so that you have an article that will makes sense and please remember to have a beginning middle and end.

  • Once you have completed, start rewriting your information in sentences and paragraphs easily readable and understandable.

This is one way that works if you have no idea what you want to write about, or how to write it. The research might take some time but you can be sure you will have a valuable article for your readers by the time you are finished, not just garble.

Happy Writing!
