Lessons I Have Learned Mostly the Hard Way

The World is a Place to Remember

It has been a long road this life. I find it very tiring some days to keep up the charade oh only being a physical being. The great spiritual leaders from all of the great religions where the ones the looked behind the curtain of what most think is reality to get a peek at the true reality.

Many called this enlightenment some called this being reborn what ever the religion many that took that look behind the curtain said why would I want to go back and many did not.

The truly great among the enlightened the truly brave were the ones the returned so that they could tell us, “You to can do as I have done”. They were the ones that asked us to look behind the curtain as they had done. In the Christian religion it is said this way. The kingdom of heaven with in.

The Hindus said that we did not have to wait we could experience the gifts while here all we had to do is to meditate and we too can peek behind the curtain as they have done.

Joe, I'm not sure I understand where you're coming from in this Post... I guess I'm wondering where does that leave you? A Christian, Hindu, Jewish, or other Belief? I guess I'm missing 'what's the question' or 'statement' you are presenting... As for myself, I look at the statement from the Bible which says "...we are created in GOD's image and within that Temple he shall preside". Mediation and being "Open" to all posibilities allows 'me' in my life to look within for answers. I am of the understanding and belief that GOD is within and connected with our Soles. The Energies of Life.

It's funny, I just posted a comment on 'acpeavy' at: http://www.blogestates.com/blog/acpeavy/2005/06/27/933/ in response to a Post on "CHOICE". And, I also get into this meaning of Life and our Soles. I won't repeat it here, but if you get a chance, maybe you could take a look at that as well.

Soooo, where am I going with this... I guess I'm hoping for a clarification [the light hasn't gone on in terms of me getting the drift of this...] of what your interpretation of this "Reality" is versus what the Christians or Hindus or others have said. How do you see it? What do you hear when you meditate? ;o)

John, what you ask I would say yes to. I am christian, hindu, buddist. I can not see a difference other than the way a man has interpreted "God". Ramakristna that lived in India in the late 1800's said, "there are as many paths to god as there are men". He went on to say that all were true.

My statement is not of a religious nature. I do not think of my self as a religious person. Meaning I do not persue any particular religious dogma. I speak from a place that I recognise mans struggle to find meaning in life. That the answer is to be found outside of what we think of as reality (the physical world). It is through that journey of finding what is real that the purpose in life manifests its self.

John the above statement also speaks to those that have struggled in this journey and have come back to tell us, yes there is more to life than what seems apparent.

Peace and Love
Joe
