	It Arrived!
Greetings! The snow, I mean.  Yes it arrived.  Well a few flakes that is, but the concern it raised! It's been a very exciting day today.  I know, I usually go to the library for my week-end reading, but today I had to attend an executive meeting of a charity I'm involved with, where I was expecting to get my wrist slapped.  The chairman actually gave a very good reply to the motion which was put in front of the committee, to the effect that as a committee we don't have any control over the personal lives of the members as long as they are not representing the charity.  Well done that chair!  There seems to be too much of this you can't do this, that, or the other, unless "we" say so.  There are some rude words I could use, but then I'm very well behaved, so you just have to imagine them.  Gina Weiss has a blog on this sort of thing, well worth a read. From there it was a stagger down to the bus stop, and then into the local community centre for a coffee.  A very fast and exciting life I lead.  Then I was fortunate enough to get a lift home.
