Traffic Exchange News

Every week there are new traffic exchanges launched.  I do my best to try and spot which ones are up-and-coming as I always enjoy surfing somewhere new for a change.

I completely failed to spot GradeATraffic though; where did this come from so fast?

If you haven’t already heard that Traffic Bunnies has a cool new game then welcome back from Mars!

Games while surfing – love ‘em (keeps the surfers awake and alert) or hate ‘em (here to work not play) you can’t deny that they are here to stay and this is definitely one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.

Royal Surf  is still offering $1 per active referral, with the incentives in place to help get (and keep) your new people active.

Don’t forget the rewards for staying active yourself – make sure you are surfing 500 a week!

‘Hump-day’ means the new Hoopla ranking  is out.  Don’t forget to log in and make sure all your referral IDs are up to date, ready for your downline to join.

The surf plan is already updated, ready for you to print off.

Questions from new subscribers

How can I brand myself?

Not surprisingly, this topic is covered quite extensively in the free email course (provided with Power Surf Formula from Jacquie Barton), but here are some quick pointers.

The easiest way to stand out from the crowd is to make sure you use your name and photo wherever possible.

Yes, amusing pictures are great in the right setting but would you trust business advice from Mr Smiley?  Worse yet, I often see splash pages with the facility to upload a photo displaying ‘this member has not added their photo’.  If someone can’t be bothered to do that am I really going to trust them as my upline support?

Forums and blogs are other tried and tested ways of getting a little of your personality known so think carefully before you post: are you coming across as helpful, knowledgeable and approachable, or just trying to ram your biz-op down everyone’s throat?

Are you using the splash pages provided by your affiliate programme?  If you are, no matter how great they may be, you are shooting yourself in the foot.

You cannot brand yourself by doing the same thing as everyone else!

Come on chaps, don’t be shy! Where are YOUR splash pages?

This week you will have to look at one of mine instead.

Of course, it is everything a good splash should be; clear, clean and converting well. (Biased? me? Surely not!)

What is Marketing?

If the circus is coming to town and you paint a sign saying, "Circus is coming to Fairgrounds Sunday," that's Advertising.

If you put the sign on the back of an elephant and walk him through town, that's a Promotion.

If the elephant walks through the Mayor's flower bed, that's Publicity.

If you can get the Mayor to laugh about it, that's Public Relations.

And, if you planned the whole thing, that's Marketing!

Power Surf Formula

Traffic Exchange News

Normally, I am a little blasé about referral competitions but there is one that we should pay attention to.  Not only is Royal Surf paying $1 per active referral, there are incentives in place to help get (and keep) your new people active.  There are also rewards for staying active yourself – make sure you are surfing 500 a week!

There is a new splash for this Royal Surf promotion  (don’t forget to use your link, of course I don’t need to tell you to make sure your photo is uploaded!)

As you know, Royal Surf is featured in the Power Surf Formula and I have had a good response from Royal Surfers to this page.  Feel free to borrow some ideas!

Deep Sea Hits has changed its surf reward page.  No longer are we clicking the chest (on the left, lol) for bonus credits, we are now collecting cards.  This makes it somewhat tougher to rack up the bonus credits but 1000 for a complete set make it well worth while putting up with the annoyance of having 7/8……

This is a great exchange and a fixture in the Hoopla rankings, but I had found that credit delivery could be a little slow.  This has all changed now so make sure you log in more often.

Super-surfing  is always a great way to earn an extra 10% exposure for the same effort in some of the most active traffic exchanges.

This week there are extra bonuses on offer with 100% across the board all weekend so cancel your plans to go out!  Not really, lol ;-)

Congratulations to Robin Baker on her first splash page.

Take a look at it here – there are a number of excellent principles she has used, can you spot them?
