After grad school, I had a good professional job with a small computer consulting firm where I worked my way to the top position title, "Consultant."  It was interesting and entertaining work where one of the younger owners lived up to the saying, "Live fast, die young and leave it all to the wife and kids."  So the rest of us got a good early life lesson.  I wanted more because my life was being poured into a computer instead of building any personal or social life.  

I discovered the mail order industry through some classified ads in the scientific magazines.  Mail order was a tricky industry rather like the wild west, and much like the Internet is today.  But it was completely flexible, which fit my wide variety of interests and allowed my choice of the time it took.  Anyway, I went full time in this new career a little before I was really prepared, so it wasn't always easy.  I guess I was always attracted to the independent entrepreneurial spirit.

"What about Amway?"

I still remember my mother introducing me to the possibility of Amway.  "Because they have the best laundry detergent.  And people are making a lot of money with Amway, so it might be important to you, and worth looking into.  But it's not for me," she said with conviction.  But, now she too is earning extra income from mlm and wouldn't go without it.  

By trying to build a mail-order business, I was not always able to work for the best mlm supplier companies.  For example, Amway has never been successful "through the mails."  The people who were more successful than I, focused on mlm and built a traditional mlm business.  My associates who followed this advice have done well for themselves.  

Part of the education in mail-order is in how to spot a scam and to avoid them.  I learned all I know by experience -- both good and bad.  There are many new scams on the Internet; and the government regulators are improving their ability to locate and stop them.  Scams never last.  Part of the sign of a scam is the lack of a long term value for it's customers.  A scam is often successful in the short term because it focuses on just that -- on "quick money."

So, having the choice between "quick money" and "big money", where do you come down?

A lesson I've learned about helping others earn money is that -- everyone has their "glass ceiling."  It's probably self imposed by their own decisions.  Everyone in business can reach a certain level of income (their personal glass ceiling.)  But, some won't work hard enough to make a living with it.  And others will do whatever it takes to create a huge fortune.

The biggest comeback

I am about to come back out of retirement to cash in on my career's mlm industry perspective and focus on the best available mlm company out there.  I look forward to helping more people than I have ever been able to in my previous career to date.  Because the company will have a long lasting result and thus affect more people, many I will never see or know.  You can't do this homebased business for the money, you must focus on helping others.  That is the hidden agenda.

Success Formula

The key to success lies in what you believe.  First of all, "Success" is only a state of consciousness.  It is very good for you -- but it is all in your mind.  You can be rich or poor or anything at all, and still be "successful."  There are very good reasons to believe in success.  The benefits of success consciousness are unlimited and almost miraculous.  Brain chemistry researchers are proving more about this all the time.  So, the key to success lies in what you believe.   

You can enter the state of consciousness of success by deciding to do so -- like any other state of consciousness.  Or, you can "fake it until you make it."  Many benefits will come to you, either way.  You can avoid the benefits of success by not believing in it -- or by not believing in yourself.  Talk about self destruction.  Talk about a self fulfilling prophesy.  Think about the power of faith.  Why would anyone avoid it?  But, many choose to do so.

For example, any action at all proceeding a decision to enter the consciousness of success could be thought of as a key to success.  And remembering this action can be a reminder for you to use, for your convenience at the least.  Also, any plan of action at all carries it's own rewards (the satisfaction of completing the plan, and etc.)  But the one true success formula works for anyone at anytime -- there is nothing arbitrary about it.  It is reliable, repeatable and universal.

However, success is a responsibility, not a right.  There is no guarantee.  You can misunderstand the formula,  You can misapply the formula.  You can ignore the formula.  You can deny the success formula  You can be dishonest or ignorant.  You can do everything right but not believe in it.  You can believe in it, but not believe in yourself -- creating self-sabotage.  Thus in many ways, you are free to succeed, or not.  It is solely up to you.  

Now, ask yourself, what would you do if you really had this wisdom of the success formula?  You would probably do the best you can doing what you most like doing.  And, as it worked for you, as you mastered that entire domain of life, you would apply the same success formula to other tasks.  Or, share it with others -- after proving it to yourself.  

That's a fact -- "if I can do it, you can do it."
