Only in America

Flag.jpg Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof....

No other country on earth has a written constitution that specifically limits the powers of its government, and a Bill of Rights that guarantees the People's freedom.

How then, is a Supreme Court Chief Justice removed from the bench for not removing his Ten Commandments monument from a state Judicial Building - Prosecuted by the Attorney General's office public corruption and white-collar crime unit?

Since when are the Ten Commandments a crime that corrupts?

A California man files a lawsuit with The U.S. Supreme Court, in objection to his nine-year-old daughter reciting the pledge of allegiance every morning, with the words 'one nation under God'.

Since when is God and a patriotic oath objectionable behavior in America?

How has it been determined that it is against the law for the words "under God" to be on American currency, and prayer prohibited in public schools as a result of successful lobbying by a well-known atheist group? This group is also campaigning to remove all Christmas programs and Christmas carols from public schools.

A television network pulls a show for using the word God in every program, but runs those with every foul word in the English language.

The "Ten Commandments" are not to be used in or on a government installation, yet have always been displayed in the Supreme Court and many others throughout America.

These are clear indications to me that we're losing the right to have any acknowledgment of God in any public place. And I'm quite sure that this is not what Our Founding Fathers had in mind when they penned the Law of the Land they so eloquently described as "God-given rights."
