Rime of the Ancient Mariner

As I was reading the Rime of The Ancient Mariner I was struck by one of the stanzas. It reminded me why this poem is a great piece of literature.

"As idle as a painted ship

Upon a painted ocean"

What a lovely word picture and so apt. O where would we be without the writtenm word!!

Honey, I'm Home

Have just returned from a business trip to San Francisco. Found a most excellent bookshop called Green Apples. It is one of the best secondhand bookshops that I have ever visited. Needless to say my bank balance was somewaht depleted after 2 hours browsing.

The good thing is that I was able to purchase 10 books related to my favorite author: Virginia Woolf. I'm thinking of starting a site for the worlds best second hand bookshops - any suggestions from the team?
