Welcome (At long last)

I say at long last purely down to the fact that in my last in-house forum newsletter
I stated I would be transferring the newsletter to a blog . This process has now
taken me several months to initiate and finally launch..

But the good news is I have got there in the end.

For those who have recently joined the forum or not experienced one of our
newsletters previously, I would like to offer you a very warm welcome and
hope you find some of the information and details beneficial and of some
interest.

Since my last correspondence with you so much has happened I've hardly
had time to catch my breath, however that said the important thing is that
you feel you are gaining the full benefits that the forum has to offer.

One of the reasons I have gone with the idea of using a blog as a means of
communicating with you is so that you are able to interact, by that I mean there
is a facility below for you to leave your comments and feedback. The only
setback with this is that you do need to be a member of blogestates, which
isn't a problem as you can join entirely for free and have a fully operational
account of your own set-up in minutes. Not sure where to click in order to join.

You can join by simply clicking here. This will enable you to provide any
comments or feedback that you may wish myself or other forum members to
see.

Did you know, or are you aware that the forum is currently growing at a
phenomenal rate. This is not only making it more appealing to outsiders, but will
provide your ads with a much greater punch. As the forum grows it also gains
more momentum, which will give you an even wider audience, so all in all the
future and potential of the forum and more importantly your ads is looking very
bright.

People often ask me what do I do in order to promote the forum so that my
current members get as good a deal as is possible. I normally reply with, Wow!
Where shall I start, but in short I use a multitude of processes, but the most
responsive tend to be other Free Ad Forums for obvious reasons.

Ok enough about the Forum and me, lets get down to the really important issues
here such as how this newsletter is going to be of benefit to you.

One of the things I used to do with the old newsletters was have a section called
Members Program of the Month. This meant highlighting an active member of the
forums website or business and presenting their link in the newsletter and giving
them recognition.

This was achieved by random selection and still is so it could easily be You!

Moving swiftly along...

I think it was back in November 2007 that I mentioned a program that could offer
1 Million visitors to your website absolutely free. Since mentioning that I have
personally developed my own website at FirstForIncome.com to be able to offer its

visited FirstForIncome, but for those of you that have not yet taken a look it may

Some people have certain difficulties in moving forward online, now I don't want to be
like all these other newsletters and subscriptions that people sometimes belong to by
simply reeling off what I think may be useful information in whatever it is that people
wish to know about online marketing, so again it befalls the feedback operation that
this blogsite has the facility of offering. If there is anything (Internet Marketing Related)
that you would like me to cover or discuss a following issue of newsletter simply
state it below. Honestly, it is worth getting a free account here just for this reason alone.

There are of course a few things I will be covering within the newsletters, but they will
be more on the lines of tips, tricks and technology that you can use in order to
promote and grow your business or website.

One such tip is getting backlinks to our websites. This is done in the form of
adding content elsewhere that either relates to our own website facilities or is simply
information that is added elsewhere, but points to or links to our own website. I have
found one easy and quite successful way of doing this is by using a free program
called Qassia.com who's sole purpose is to provide you with quality backlinks to your
sites.

Search engines love websites with a lot of things, but one thing in particular that they
love is when your website has other websites not only linking to it, but also having
inbound links with relevant content. Obviously the less relevant the content of the
inbound link then the less relevance the search engine will place on that website.

Bottom line. The more and better the backlink, then the higher the ranking a search
engine will place on your website. So a backlink program such as Qassia.com is a
way for you to write about your website ad links and gain SEO traffic.

They work in a very similar way to a blog in fact, so well worth investigating.

If you don't have your own website and are wanting to promote an affiliate link
or similar, backlinks may not be your thing, but writing a blog and promoting that
would certainly prove beneficial.

There are a multitude of ways that you can gain traffic to a website for free and a
lot of them can prove even more beneficial than a lot of the paid solutions that people
throw their money away on. Ok, so some may appear to take a little longer or require
slightly more effort, but surely for anyone looking to promote their services or find
success online time is not the factor as we are not just here for a fast buck...

For those who don't know about Squidoo...

The site allows anyone to make a special webpage that focuses on some subject that you are an expert in. You don't even need much expertise to create a "lens" on Squidoo.

A Squidoo lens is a webpage that focuses on a particular topic. For example you could make a lens about a hobby, sports team, your great grandmother, or even a product that you are selling. I make a lot of lenses on items I want to make money with and it works!

The interesting thing is Squidoo pages (lenses) are getting high placement in search engines for many keywords. Awesome!

Go to Squidoo.com and set up a free lens on your favorite subject.

The set up is easy and there is plenty of help on how to do it if you get stuck.

When you make your lenses, add as many keywords (tags) as you can that are related to your topic to bring in more traffic.

Treat it like blog and update it daily and you'll begin to see lots of traffic to your sites, not just your Squidoo pages.

The best thing is Squidoo lets you earn royalties from the traffic and clicks to your Squidoo lenses since there are Google Adwords on your Squidoo Pages. You can also add Ebay, Amazon, CafePress and Netflix modules that you can make money from too!
