Do It Now!
Now is the time to get busy and write down your goals for the new year.
Don't wait until New Year's Eve and just make some resolutions.
Why do it now?
Well, you will have a week or so to tell your friends you have already done it.
And, if you are in any kind of business venture with a downline, you can be setting an example for them.
Leaders lead by doing.

Delightful Holiday Treat
Tempting (and probably sinful) chocolate fudge made from Watkins Quality Spices and Ingredients. (Click Here For Full Recipe)
Part of the reason I like Watkins Products and the Christmas season is trying the delightful recipes.
Other reasons to like Watkins are the opportunity to have fun and to help friends!

Taking Church Out of Christmas - Closed for The Holiday
Every year that I can remember there has been lots of talk about taking "Christ" out of Christmas and making Christmas a commercial winter holiday.
This year is no exception. This is, however, the first year I have heard so much about taking "church" out of Christmas.
Christmas Day this year falls on Sunday.
Many churches will keep their doors closed so families can stay home, open gifts, over-eat, and take a nap. Families shouldn't be inconvenienced by worship on such an important holiday.
This appears most prevalent in fast-growing churches run by CEO's; not so much in churches being pastored by a shepherd.
One church I am very familiar with promoted "The Passion" movie very heavily and talked how Christ suffered and died for us. That church is taking Christmas day off. I feel blessed that He was inconvenienced for us and consider it a privilege to worship on the day we celebrate His birth.
I'll be in church Christmas morning; I hope you will be there also!
Paul Proctor's excellent article at http://newswithviews.com/PaulProctor/proctor83.htm discusses churches being closed for the holiday in more detail and more eloquently.
