Reasons Not To Like Baptists

When my sister died last month, I called my landlord. I told him I would be going out of town and did not know when I would be back so I would be vacating my room. (I had just paid my week's rent and only stayed one night of that week.)

He said to go do what I had to do and we would take care of things when I got back.

Today he said I must have been in a hurry when I left for my sister's funeral and forgot to leave a "written" notice that I was leaving.

Therefore I forfeited my security deposit.

He is member of the big baptist church in town. An outstanding person.

Sheb Wooley - Look Good Naked

Most of us will probably remember Sheb Wooley from his role as Pete Nolan on the Rawhide television show or from his hit single "One-eyed, One-horned, Flying Purple People Eater".

He also appeared on the HeeHaw television show as Ben Colder, the town sot. He used this Ben Colder identity to record my personal favorite of his hits(?) - "I Just Don't Look Good Naked Anymore".

I only post Excerpts due to potential copyright issues; here is the first verse:

"I stepped outta the shower and I got a good look at myself
Pot belly, bald head, man, I thought I was somebody else
I caught my reflection in the mirror on the back of my bathroom door
