Now onto MY RANT!

There is a a huge promotion being touted out there - something about a funnell. What is so fantastic about it? As long as I have been a member of 10k Rob has taught (and dare I say Preached) the exact same concept. Offer something for free (10k Gold Membership, Membership for Life at MoneyLegs), build rapport and TRUST, then introduce your downline to a program you are part of. The key to the whole system is the communication between you and your team. You have to reach out. Show them how it works for you and help them make it work for them too! Whoops - went on a tangent. The difference between the 10k "funnell" and the "New Funnell"  boils down to trust. Have any of you ever (and I mean ever) recieved a solicitaion from Rob? I doubt it. On the other hand, how many of you have received an "introduction" to a brand new program from the owner of another traffic exchange you belong to? I'd venture to say every one of us has. Yet, these same owners critisize Rob and the rest of the 10k members for Loyalty! Last I remember Loyalty was a virtue. It should be cherished.
Whew! Glad I got that off of my chest.

Hello Team!

As I was doing some clean up work this morning in 10khits4uNow I was overwhelmed by the number of members that have been inactive for 30 days. I couldn’t help but think I must have let you down in some way. Perhaps, I don't keep you as informed as a "good" upline sponser should. That is probably because I see 10k and the GJW family of programs as such a wonderful blend of products that I can’t see why anyone would not be actively working it to build their contact list and market their primary businesses. 

I know we all get so involved in our daily lives and needing instant gratification that we sometimes miss the big picture. I am as guilty as anyone! When I first started advertising on Traffic Exchanges I almost quit. It seemed as if I was making all this effort and not getting any reward. Then a few sign-ups started trickling in, and then a few more and suddenly I started getting a steady stream of sign-ups. That’s when I realized that following the simple plan laid out in the GJW family of programs would pay off in the long run and have stuck with it ever since. Find out more here!

Mentoring?

I have done a lot of surfing over the past four days and keep coming across all these "Mentoring" sites. So, I thought I would share my philosophy on mentoring.

Here it is:
1. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
2. Do what you say you are going to do.
3. Share what you know, the good, the bad, the right  as well as the wrong.
4. When asked for help, give it freely with no expectation of anything in return.
5. The most important, in my eyes,  stay in contact.

Too many people in today's  world have a me, me, me mentality. Everyone wants to know what's in it for me.
I am sure you get the same emails that I do from so called "Gurus". "Join my program and make thousands!" or "No sponsoring to make thousands a month!" The list goes on and on. Then when you join you get an autoresponder series telling you "their plan" but never hear from them. These guys aren't sponsors, they are recruiters. To them it is all a numbers game. Get huge amounts of people to sign up. Take their money for three or four months then move on to the next big thing.

Let me tell ya something folks - There ain't no such thing as a free ride! You won't make thousands of dollars for not doing any work. You especially won't make it overnight. The world don't spin that way.

But, there is Hope! Follow the proven success model outline above and you will succeed. Be true to yourself and to the people you sponsor into any program and you will acheive long term success.

All business is built on trust. If people like you and trust you they will continue to do business with you. You have to realize your business isn't about your success. People could care less about your success.
You have to help them succeed. (The light goes on!) Only when you help others succeed will you truly have success.

If you build a house of cards any wind will knock it down. That is called attrition in the marketing world.

If you build a solid foundation and add bricks one layer at a time (sponsoring and helping others succeed) then over the next few years you will have built a solid house - business - that will withstand any "Wind of Change"

Thanksgiving Day

Ah! Thanksgiving Day. The name says it all. A time to reflect on our blessings and the bounty of the past season. A time to give thanks to the Good Lord for all He has shared with us throughout the past year.

It is also a great time for us to share our favorite leftover turkey recipes. With that in mind here is my personal favorite.

INGREDIENTS:
2 slices of really fresh white bread (the kind that sticks to the roof of your mouth)
2 slices of turkey breast (You know you hid some back from Uncle John)
1 TSP of Miracle Whip
1 slice of smoky swiss cheese
A dash of salt

Spread 1/2 the Miracle Whip evenly over one slice of bread.
Lay the sliced turkey over the bread making sure to cover evenly.
Sprinkle a dash of salt over the turkey.
Next add the smoked swiss
Spread the remaining Miracle Whip over the remaining slice of bread and cover.

Makes one serving.

Time flies!

Wow, here it is November already. It seems the older I get the faster time goes by. I remember as a kid thinking summer was endless. The days until I could get back to school and see all my friends seemed to strech out forever. When I graduated high school and joined the Army, things speeded up a little but mostly that was a result of the "Hurry Up an Wait" syndrome that affects all units. Then, when I left the service and entered civilian life time sped up once again. It seemed the mortgage payments and other bills were just paid and then due again.

Time seemed to resume a normal rate for a year or two until all the kids were in school and then Wham! it doubled again. Sports, music and field trips seemed to sneek up on us. Once again, when the children were all graduated the pace of life slowed to normal.

Oh Oh! The grandchildren started coming along and good ole time started running faster again. It seems they grow up overnight.

I guess Mr Einstein is entirely correct "Time is Relative"
