Thanks for many blessings!

This year has been especially challenging for me . I lost my mother, encountered numerous health challenges and have worked hard with what seems little return for my efforts. However, these negatives pale when I consider the many wondrous things I have to be greatful about.

The most recent true blessing I received was the return of my husband and other members of my family from Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. We adventure south each year in October to enjoy the differences in culture and climate in that area. I stayed behind because of a bout with illness...

Glenn, his brother, our son and his wife trekked to our favorite getaway just in time to be caught in Hurricane Wilma. The Mexican government evacuated everyone from what was to become a totally devastated area and saw to the well being of all in their care. Glenn took off to a small town 100 miles inland, while Don and Mary were sheltered on the third floor of a school in Cancun. All were stranded with no transportation and limited communication for several days. Needless to say, I was very relieved when I heard Glenn's voice on the other end of a telephone.

He arrived home ten days later than he planned to be gone. It is the second time I have celebrated his being with great joy recently. You see three years ago he was diagnosed with the most aggressive type of bladder cancer...and I was absolutely frozen in fear, as I had lost my Dad the year before to the same ailment. Glory be, Glenn is totally cured!

I am grateful for all those who have helped me this year in my business ventures, especially Doug Williams, who is a patient and knowledgable mentor and the persons on my team in our various traffic exchanges and programs. Thank you all. Happy Thanksgiving to all in the USA. May you be as blessed as I am.
