2005-05-31 Goverment and MAD COWS
I have been contacted by several people by phone and email. I wonder what is so scary about posting
information on the net. Gosh we all gladly hand our cc or atm cards to pay for goods at any store. Our
gov. has all our information same as they do for many countries. If they are most any one really wanted to they could get the information. Lets face it folks if we flaunt our info Im sure that in its self is the best way to protect your self in todays world. That way people just figure you dont have any thing so why bother. Of course that is true in my case any way.
WASHINGTON -- The latest confirmed case of mad cow disease in the United States has been traced to a beef cow born in Texas 12 years ago and slaughtered last November at a pet food plant, Agriculture Department officials said Wednesday.
It was the first time the disease has been confirmed in a U.S.-born cow. The other U.S. case, confirmed in December 2003 in Washington state, was in a dairy cow imported from Canada.
The department's chief veterinarian, Dr. John Clifford, said the new case was identified and linked to the herd in Texas through DNA testing. He said none of the infected animal's carcass entered the food or animal feed chain.
Maybe this will show the gov that it is best to be honest with us all.
Please post as the gov is watching this post and needs to know your coments.
You never know?
A very interesting thing happened Saturday June 18.
I was picking up a few items at the local Vons store.
I always get coupons on the back of the check out slip.
As I was walking to my car a fellow ask me if I could
help him. He was about 40 and pretty well dressed. He said
that his 6 year old Daughter was hungry and could I help
them. I only had ten bucks on me and hadn’t eaten myself.
So we went across to the local McDonalds and had a great
time.
The coupons were 2 for one big mc buggers and we
were able to get 4 for the price of 2 and drinks for the 10
bucks.
He said his job had been fazed out by technology
And he had not been able to find work.
It is sad but true times are getting harder on lots
of us and we do need to reach out and help.
Sure exchange information because you have
Made a friend.
Ronele Started taking classes in excell and seems to be much happer.
I guess a person needs to keep the learning process going for a better
feeling about self worth. Pat did all the book work for the family.
Now it all falls on Ronele and is very hard for her. Pat was truly her rock.
8 months before his death Pat had a great job. He was IT tech at C. B. U.
Worked the support desk and was very knowledgable in all things that had to
do with networking servers of all kinds.
And a cow staggered and fell to the ground. It may have been a beef or
Dairy cow. But the rancher or dairyman had to recoup his expenses so
The animal was processed and filtered into the food supply. This could
Have been 30 years ago. But on Veterains Day 2005 my son-in-law Patrick Hicks died
And that was only the start of a terrible story and events that were to take place in the months and years to come. I pray daily that my daughter will
Find the strength to put it behind her and that the news and powers that be will let it be so.
The brain samples from a California man named Patrick Hicks have been sent to France to be reanalyzed for evidence of vCJD. The man’s neurologist suspects that he may be the first discovered case of vCJD resulting from consumption of U.S. beef. Authorities in January ruled out vCJD as a cause of death, but the neurologist, Dr. Ron Baily, said that Hicks has vCJD symptoms and died at the relatively young age of 55.
At the Laboratoire De Neuropathologie at the Groupe Hospitalier Pitie-Salpetriere in Paris, Hicks’ brain tissue will be injected into experimental animals.
Allegations of a possible coverup have been made by the family after the autopsy company did not freeze tissue samples and instead fixed the entire organ in formalin. The company that made the mistake is called 1-800-AUTOPSY. Really.

The disease was discovered by two German researchers in the 1920s, but about 80 years later, doctors still have little understanding how it's contracted or even how to treat it..
The disease works when an abnormal protein, called a prion, begins invading cells. The infected cells and abnormal proteins form deposits in the brain, causing holes, essentially leaving a person's brain looking like a sponge.
There is no cure and no known treatment. Those diagnosed with the disease are dead within a year.
You may not realize it, but you have heard of CJD. One way it's contracted is through eating infected beef -- "mad cow disease."
There has only been one case of mad cow disesae causing CJD in the United States, but it was a Florida woman who grew up in the United Kingdom, where infected beef was prevalent.
Some cases have been linked to unfortunate hereditary traits, but the vast majority of CJD cases in the U.S. are termed "sporadic," which means doctors have no clue how people get it.

I have found a product that has truly amazed me.
It is minerals and electrolytes that cleans the pathways
that our body uses to communicate from one cell to
another. The most important thing is that it is working
for me. I am 64 will be 65 come the 5th of 2006. It has
literally made me feel much younger and better than I
have in years.
I just wonder what would it have done for Patrick in
the early stages of his disease.
When you think of the condition of our world today.
It makes awesome sense to me.
Our topsoil is worn out and the minerals depleted.
Extreme X20 simply restores these vital ingredients
Back into our bodies.

This has been a very sad experence and I would like to share a bit of text I ran across on the net today.
To much gloom is just not good.
Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark... One: Don't miss the boat. Two: Remember that we are all in the same boat. Three: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark. Four: Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big. Five: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done. Six: Build your future on high ground. Seven: For safety's sake, travel in pairs. Eight: Speed isn't always an advantage. Snails were on board with cheetahs. Nine: When you're stressed, float a while. Ten: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals. Eleven: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting author unknown
