This is an awesome pic, Chad! You do incredible work. By the way, a former witch has warned of the dangers of allowing children to read Harry Potter. A born-again Christian, she claims that in her personal experience, it's a REAL introduction of the children of America to the occult and the worship of Satan. Reading her story (AND simply bringing it to mind here), sends chills through me, it is very believable. I don't personally have any grandchildren, but I would urge any parent or grandparent to investigate this possibility and take heed to her warnings.~

I son't know. I think th ebooks are just harmless entertainment. There alot worse things in the world that messes kids up. Like unfit parents, criminals doign bad things, Tv news. Harry Potter is about a young man doing his best to rid evil and avenge his parents. No different then Star Wars and many other stories. Hey at least it gets kids excited about reading. Hey it got me excited about reading. And I have a hard time reading books at all. Also I think the Majority of kids are smart enough to figure out that all that stuff is Fantasy. Only a small amount will try to boil Fish tails and dragon root anyway. And they need some serious help. :) Thansk for like my pic:)

Hey Chad this look great, just curious which program did
you use?

And Gina, I do agree with the Harry Potter concern, it has
occult elements in it. I know from experience how dangerous
this is. But Chad it Is true, when reading it as a fantasy
world and keep away from the occult influence it might
have, I think you can read the books from the age children
Can Judge what they are reading. Kids under 6 yrs old still
think magical and do not see the difference in real world
and fantasy world. So I would not read it to small
children.

The Harry Potter conflict. I think the biggest problem with the book is that Harry - even though he grew up in a very abusive family - is a bit of a brat! Teaching kids they can be a hero, while still being whiney, undisciplined and arrogant could lead to some MAJOR problems!!
As far as the occult goes - I think Harry Potter is just like anything else. It depends on the kid, and it depends on the parents. If parents stay involved in what their kids are reading, and talk to them about 'real life' implications etc. then we'd have much less to worry about. :) zoe
ps. interesting pic, chad. it freaks me out though. . .
