Merry Christmas!  Politically Correct?  Ba! HumBUG! (cont'd)

One clear thing you can do to understand the negative impact "Political Correctness" can have on all of our lives is keep an open mind when you see different news reports and even television shows you may be watching.  Governments have been known to use television shows to develop favorable responses from the public on issues that may initially meet with public disfavor.

Remember 'Happy Days', in a television interview the producer admitted collaboration with the government  in using the popular TV series to sway public opinion.  That's right folks, the "FONZ" was a government stooge sent to brainwash the youth of the day that staying in school was "COOL".  I personally think this was a commendable purpose, I just have a problem with the method and way it was implemented. Do you think they stopped using this effective technique?  More then likely they have refined your television viewing to become an even more effective brainwashing tool.

Other things you can do to make direct input differences are available at every turn.

If you are a US Citizen, email, snail mail, telephone, collect signatures on a petition and delver your point of view directly to your Congress Representative.

If you are a Canadian Citizen, email, snail mail, telephone, collect signatures on a petition and delver your point of view directly to your Member of Parliament.

If you are a British Citizen, email, snail mail, telephone, collect signatures on a petition and delver your point of view directly to your Member of Parliament.

If you are a Australian Citizen, email, snail mail, telephone, collect signatures on a petition and delver your point of view directly to your Member of Parliament.

If you live in another country, look up your Political Representative's information online and USE IT!

Other things you can do maybe easier since they can be accomplished in your day to day travels.

If you attend a church regularly, talk to you fellow members to make a difference as well, some may not think they could make a difference, give them this BLOG address to assist you getting their support.  Talk to your minister, most ministers belong to larger organizations of ministers, often multi denominational.

Visit the staff of stores BEFORE you spend your Christmas shopping budget.  Ask them if they are allowed to say "Merry Christmas" to their customers.  If they tell you their store policy is to be "POLITICAL CORRECT", ask for the store manager and politely  explain that you will be doing your Christmas purchases elsewhere due to their store policy to persecute Christians and their Christmas Traditions.

Don't kid yourself that I'm way out there or going paranoid,  the propaganda machinery is already in full swing.  The next time you hear an old favorite Christmas Song on the radio, listen carefully.  If you're over 45, you'll likely realize the subtle changes in wording for these tunes.from when you wnere in your twenties.

Even though these 21st century Grinches,( multi-national corporations,  Bureaucrats, and anti Christians ), seem to back off under pressure, don't be fooled by their smoke and mirrors bull shit.  They are in for the long haul to change society to their agenda.

If Christmas and Christian values are to be alive 20 - 30 years down the road, we must stand and be counted today, tomorrow, next month and next year.  The 'other side' is working on this secular change toward Christmas 24/7/365 we only notice their efforts for 5 or 6 weeks of the year.

The youth of today are being bombarded with this secular drivel on every front,  the youth in the next couple of generations won't stand a chance if we fail them today.

Stand and be COUNTED - You will feel better about yourself!

Merry Christmas to ALL and to ALL a GOOD NIGHT!

Now these are just a portion of the major religious holidays for some of the worlds larger religions.  Seems to me we would get closer to "Peace on Earth and Goodwill to All Men" if we introduced a mandatory class in all schools identifying these important dates and difference of religious doctrines.  We might even begin to have more tolerances and respect for each other by having more accurate knowledge of what our differences are, rather than trying to destroy any religious beliefs because they differ from ours.

The World Population is growing by the minute, immigration and a transient world population will demand tolerances of religion, color and traditions improve.  It can only be a lose-lose proposition if bureaucracy strives to diminish their traditional values.

Doug - Kudos my man! Glad to see others getting on this bandwagon. We did our CHRISTmas shopping this year only at stores where employees were allowed to say "Merry CHRISTmas". Please pass the word to others before all of our freedom's are driven "underground".

It's so very sad to see this happening. I never thought I'd see anything like this in my lifetime.

I agree, we all need to stand up and be counted or the next generations won't stand a chance.

And you know what it's all for? The almighty dollar! They forget what Christmas really is about: The birth of our Saviour which is the reason for the season!

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Hear hear!! we all need to stand up and be counted or the next generations won't stand a chance.

I read through all my Christmas cards and did not use any that did not specifically say "Merry Christmas". If they said Happy Holidays or Season's Greetings they did not get sent out this year and I made a particular point of saying "Merry Christmas" to everyone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to one and all

Just sent to my member of Parliament....... and I will be posting it to my blog. Thanks Doug for the incentive to do this.

Dear Cheryl

I think it is time to take a stand, to let people know that this is a Christian country. I am tired of hearing that we must be "politically correct". Those Immigrants who choose to come to Canada to live should know in advance that we follow Christian customs and that we have Christmas, not "holidays" and that they can choose to celebrate or not, but that they do not have the right to tell the rest of us that we can not celebrate in our own fashion. If we want to have nativity scenes in our front yard or on our streets, that is part of our Canadian culture. If they don't like it, they don't have to look at it. They get to choose what they want to celebrate and can put it in their own front yard.

This country is based on Christian values which are slowly being eroded as we give in more and more to those who are coming to our country from somewhere else and expecting to have the right to bring their culture with them. They are coming here to better themselves, they should be told in advance what the expectations are. The Somali should be told that we do not tolerate gangs running around with knives threatening other people and that they can't just take what they like. There should be people to explain to them before they come over here, or after, what the expectations are and that they will end up in jail if they do that.

Our country is becoming weaker and weaker as we give in more and more. It is time to stop. To go back to our roots. To return to prayers in the schools. To return to our churches to learn more about our faith. Why is it that our children are allowed to learn about all the other faiths, but not the Christian faith? Why is it ok to mention Buddha, but not Jesus Christ in school? It is time indeed to look at where we are going if we continue down this path.

Sincerely
Fran Watson
