Don't get me wrong here, I have no allegiance to any specific political party, but I do vote based on what I perceive to be the BIG PICTURE and the long term effects these choices will have on my children and their children.. My first opinion is EVERY Federally Elected political party should be replaced at least every 8 years, this helps the bureaucracy flush itself, other parties to stay more active all the time, ( not just at election time), and minimizes the opportunities for lobbyists and politicians to end up filling their pockets from the public coffers. Multiple other reasons to get clear of the 'Liberal Party' control include:
Do you have any idea what farmers, cottage owners and even home owners are currently doing while they live on their personal property and pay mortgages, taxes and insurance to call it their 'owned property'? YOU are simply 'minding the store' and footing the bills. With the current system for Canada Property Rights, the government can change the zoning on any property in the country and you as a citizen have little to no say in this 'zoning change'. Without "Property Rights" being include in the Canadian Charter of Rights, Canadians property owners are at the mercy of any bureaucrat's arbitrary decision. Their is a situation near Ottawa, ( Canada's Capital ), were they ( government ) have decided to rezone a lot of private farms as "WETLANDS". Cool you say, we need to protect the environment. Sure I'm all for 'Save the Environment' causes, but I'm also a believer in 'Save the People from too MUCH Government". In this Ottawa area Property Rights issue, these small rural farms will LOOSE 80 to 85% of their value almost overnight. IMAGINE if your current home was devalued by 80 to 85% when you woke up tomorrow? How much would you lose? In most case scenario's, you LOSE EVERYTHING! If you're reading this article on January 23rd, GET OUT AND VOTE for YOUR Property Rights! And if you would like the protection of Property Rights added into the Canadian Charter of Rights, you best put your "X" in the Conservative Party Candidates choice. Think about this, Canada, supposedly the 'protector' of the little guy has NO PROPERTY RIGHTS for it's citizen's, while China just emerging from decades of communist rule DOES have Property Rights embedded in the China Charter of Rights. Go Figure? Better yet, GO VOTE! Fight for your Rights TODAY, even if you don't need that Right at the moment, future generations of Canadians should be protected. Elvis Presley - 'The King' would be 71 today January 8,2006

Listening to a Radio Blues Show last night around midnight, I realized they were dedicating the show to Elvis Presley's birthday. They were playing a lot of the original blues singers and songs that Elvis made famous with his Rockabilly style. WOW! Hard to believe Elvis was born 71 years ago today, I guess would take a stretch of the imagination to visualize anyone 71 years old on stage performing Elvis' trademark gyrations. Elvis left the building a little over 28 years ago but his momentum lives on. I suppose it would be safe to say those lined up and invested in the Elvis Persona have made more revenue from the 'after Elvis' Culture than was generated by all of his records, movies and concerts while he was live. Maybe I'm callous, or just not overly sensitive to musicians, but I never could understand those that faint, roll in the aisles, or, tear off their clothes at a concert. I always felt these types were running a bit short of a full tank. I guess the big benefit to the Elvis Legacy that lives on, the real live Elvis, is not able to rock their world with any of his off the wall public displays of being human. Elvis has evolved into the perfect player. Elvis can do no wrong. I still enjoy your music Elvis, sorry I was never one to become overrun with emotion listening to Rock & Roll. RYZE Building Network - It definitely has something for EVERYONE.

 NOTE: all links will open a new browser window: About a year and a half ago, I received an invitation to join the RYZE Building Network. RYZE was new and I was sort of busy at the time so I opted out to check it out a some future date. A couple of months back I received another invitation to join RYZE Building Network. When I decided to check it out again I was rather impressed, so I joined and UPGRADED. ( after all, you never realize the full potential of a program as a free member ). I've still been plenty busy so haven't really had time to work the system the way it should be cultivated, but, I did get a chance to send out a half dozen invitations. Surprisingly, only one invitee was already in RYZE, but the rest I had invited join RYZE at my referral url. I suppose I haven't spent 10 hours working on RYSE since I joined, but I now have "9" direct friends and over "50" friends of friends. I have had about a dozen people apply to network with me and a whole lot of other great stuff is taking place daily. I chose the option to have a 'status report' emailed to me every week and that has assisted me in staying on top of what's happening in and around my RYZE Building Network account.
