Christmas, Politically Correct and Canadian Media Influencing Federal Election:

| NOTE: All links on this page will open a new browser window: Christmas! Politically Correct? Election? Who Influences YOUR Vote? Ba! HumBug! IDIOTS run Federal Election over Christmas! Our Canadian Military is falling apart, LITERALLY! Our Healthy Care System is becoming the Biggest Drug Pusher Organization in the World, right after the US! Our HIGH Canadian Dollar is Swelling the Unemployment lines rapidly! Our Education System is becoming out of reach for many who need the opportunity to improve themselves. And worst of all, the current Federal 'minority government' Liberal Party is convinced parents are unable to manage monies and look after their own children because the Canadian parent would sooner spend these monies on beer and popcorn. What about the "in excess of" TWO BILLION DOLLARS wasted on Canadian federal gun registry, yet our murder rate by "illegal guns" keeps increasing year after year. So why is it, when the main Canadian TV Network, CBC, takes control of a 'Political Leaders Debate' it all comes across like some type of pathetic infomercial about the importance of Federal Political Leaders being POLITICALLY CORRECT. The moderator of these 'debates' seems to be more like a boarding school principal moderating a spelling bee than hosting four 'men' that are vying for the top elected position in our country. And were do they find these people that ask mostly 'special interest group' questions? Some will tell you they are picked at random, POPPYCOCK! I have been interviewed by CBC about my opinion on issues several times. They have a questionnaire you are required to answer BEFORE they will include you in any type of interaction with their broadcasts. Interestingly many of these 'identifier questions' have little or nothing to do with the subject/issue at hand. What they are actually doing is 'profiling' you. Before they allow you to be seen and/or heard on their broadcast, they want to be sure which way you might respond to a variety of issues. If you fail to come across as the 'type' of Average Canadian they wish to participate on their Radio or Television Show, you are disposed of, and they move along to someone that will more likely fit their 'profile' of what they wish to convince all viewing Canadians of what an "Average Canadian" really acts and talks like about "POLITICALLY CORRECT" issues. What are some of these "POLITICALLY CORRECT" issues that are more important than our Federal AFFAIRS of STATE? The CBC seems to think we more discussion on homosexual marriages, never mind that it is a Done Deal, it has already been passed into law. OR, let's talk about the Rights of NEW Canadians that belong to the Al Queda Terrorist group. The CBC and other media love these guys. They stand right up and brag about killing people with their terrorist activity and we are not only supposed to swallow this garbage, BUT, waste valuable air time talking about their rights as Canadians? Really, BREAK AWAY from the Canadian Media Influencing our Federal Election, get OFF YOUR COUCH, pick up your telephone, find out where and when your LOCAL FEDERAL CANDIDATES are hosting open meetings, when any of these FEDERAL PARTY LEADERS will be in your area, and ATTEND some of these POLITICAL MEETINGS. Politicians of any kind are actor enough without you sitting on your couch allowing the MEDIA to influence your vote, tell the politicians how to act and respond, and, censor the 'Average Canadian' asking our questions. Get out there, get into these politicians personal space, make your own decision on who you should choose and VOTE this coming January 23, 2006. Better yet, see if you can attend a real live old time debate that is not controlled by the MEDIA. There is nothing like a good old no holds barred screaming match of a debate to bring out the true colors and attitudes of anyone. But if you got off that couch and took my advice, be careful, this extra activity might even see you actually voting on your own choices and the actual merits of your local candidates. EXTREME CAUTION: As governments push us toward "POLITICAL CORRECTNESS" we will be less and less comfortable speaking to anyone about anything. THEN we will stop communicating with each other, sit down on our couch and the MEDIA will keep us informed on what we all think. Politically Correct? Ba! HumBUG! A few years back I use to publish a Cottage/Rural magazine, in that magazine I was known to do the odd editorial on politics. You have heard of 'freedom of the press', ( I don't recommend this link unless you have a bit of time and a serious concern for your freedoms, it is intense ), don't believe it, I had more government agencies giving me grief than I was aware even existed. After that I swore off mixing into politics. But then a few years later, here I am watching a new politically fed disease spread across the continent, and wouldn't you know it, it's aptly named "POLITICALLY CORRECT" (cultural Marxism). Across North America, the media in general, politicians at all levels, and bureaucrats are wading in on Christmas with an attitude to despoil it and make Christmas a secular event to close out every passing year. It appears most of the countries that extol 'freedom of the press' ( this link covers a more global picture on public freedoms ), for the last few decades are the main countries behind this KILL CHRISTMAS campaign. In Boston, MA they tried to kill a 30 year Christmas tree GIFT tradition, in Ottawa, Canada, the new Governor General's Office almost KILLED CHRISTMAS by announcing the 'tree' would be called "Holiday Tree" in instead of Christmas Tree for POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. It's not just politicians that have been working to KILL CHRISTMAS. About 50 years ago, Coca Cola decided they wanted more pop sales from the winter months, that's when their sales fell off the most. Enter the present day image of Santa Claus, the fat guy dressed in red. No religious references what so ever and all traces of the original Saint Nick began to fade away. I'm all for governments, Federal, State/Provincial, and Local Government bodies to actually make that step forward and SEPARATE CHURCH and STATE. I would far rather have no Christmas decorations on government buildings than to have the government telling my children Christmas is Dead, long live the holidays. If for no other reason to save BILLIONS of tax payer dollars that are required for the labor, electricity and decoration replacement costs, governments spend every year to LIGHT UP, the new Holiday Season. To me, these BILLIONS of wasted TAX DOLLARS should be channeled into our education, medical or seniors support systems rather than screwing around with hundreds of years of traditions to spiritually castrate a huge percentage of North American citizen's. Do you have any idea how many North American seniors are living way below the poverty line? Do you have any idea how many people are dying because they cannot afford the appropriate medical care? Big Business wants to adjust Christmas to just a "Holiday Season" so they can convert the 65 to 70 million new immigrants that have arrive in North America over the last 25-30 years into HOLIDAY CONSUMERS. North American Governments and many European Union countries, largely give an image about human rights and religious freedoms, yet here we are living in the middle of a 21st century McCarthyism style witch hunt. We are at a pivot point to defame families values, religious freedoms and Christian traditions. It was only 70+ years ago that parts of Europe started to drive the Jewish Faith underground, then it's synagogues, then it's businesses then the people themselves. Unlikely you think, there are a lot more Christians around today than there were Jews in Europe 70+ years ago. Maybe so, but with the intense media and distractions directed at our populations today, removing Christ and Christmas from this time of the year is a really serious step toward driving Christianity underground. Everyone alive today should stand against this form persecution on one of the world's largest and oldest religions, even if you are not Christian by faith, will your faith be next for the chopping block? Identity Theft, Telephone Fraud and Consumer Abuse: Part 2

It doesn't seem to help with the latest telephone screening systems, caller ID, or what ever the catch term is these days, I refuse to use them, if the caller is someone I expected to call, I answer the telephone. If the caller is someone that shouldn't be calling me, I'm more than happy to let them know my displeasure as well. Some of the lesser evils of answering your ringing telephone comes when a computer starts the conversation by saying "Hold please for an important message". This type of intrusion into my head space usually has me jumping hot immediately, SO, I hang on that phone like it is a squirming COBRA. When a human voice does come to life from the other end of the line, I explode. me: WHO IS THIS? ( listen to response ) me: If you or anyone else wishes to talk to someone at this number, PICK UP YOUR PHONE and DIAL. We have many more pressing issues here than sitting around holding on a phone until you have time to complete YOUR generated call. Have I made myself CLEAR? (excuses response begin ) me: I hang up and smile. I suppose many people think I'm acting unreasonable, but in fact I'm saving a lot of other people grief, without a doubt, I blow some of these people off stride. They are far less likely to come off with a slick attitude with their next few telephone intrusions. Often, these are just your garden variety telephone fraud call. Commonly, they come from someone claiming to be calling from your credit card company or some other company you have dealt with in the past. My favorite starts out by telling me they work for one of the companies I have dealt with and could I give them a few minutes to complete their telephone survey. (NOTE: pay close attention to those sponsoring this web site ). They must really expect most people are stupid, one of the early questions is always, 'what age category do you fit into?' I always reply," if you are from 'x credit card' they have my age category, so who do you really work for?" that never fails to have them make a short retort and hangup the phone. This type of call can easily become a nightmare of nightmares if you fail to be extra cautious of what information you leak to this 'telephone survey' . Far to often this is the first step in perpetrating a Telephone Fraud scam. They call for government poll ratings, discount insurance rates, new windows for your home, information about who lives in your house, what newspaper you read, the list is endless and can have more twists than an old snake rail fence. Telephone Fraud has grown into a multi BILLION Dollar industry over the last few years and has rapidly developed into a cross border PHONE FRAUD activity Adhering to numerous loop holes in Canadian and United States laws, a large percentage of Telephone Fraud artists, steal billions of dollars annually from unsuspecting citizens. The telephone fraud works best during the day, this is often the best time to catch seniors at home. Baby Boomers are a favorite target for telephone fraud, they are more likely to have savings and often have concerns about their personal finances being sufficient to stretch out their remaining years. One of the most common of these telephone fraud schemes is to call you up and offer you some ridiculously low insurance plan. They offer the first month of this exceptional insurance plan, health and/or life insurance, FREE. You do not get charged, on your CREDIT CARD, until the second month, plus, you may cancel your policy anytime you wish. Recently my wife received such a call, a combined health/life insurance policy of $150,000.00 for $12.00 a month (that was for BOTH OF US). I told her to have them send us a printed information on the offer for us to study before we made a commitment. The answer was no, we had to accept the deal by telephone, after all there was no risk, we could cancel at any time. So here is the telephone fraud in all it's splendor. We would pay $12.00 a month and never EVER really know just what this policy would cover, if it actually would cover anything. The gravy for this telephone fraud? Few people that buy into this telephone fraud initially, would ever cancel that policy. They could pay $12.00 a month for years and never know the details of this telephone fraud insurance scam. Statistically, people who make this purchase will not cancel this payment. That leads me to my next bone of contention. "Phishing" to Stay Clear Of: A common term, catch phrase, for many types of scams is called "Phishing" , the Canadian RCMP have put together a very informative site on this high profile method of stealing your money. Several major banks monetary businesses are offering information sites on Phishing as well. Consumer Abuse: Almost always, the purveyors of these telephone fraud schemes know way to much about the people they are calling, they have purchased a list with a LOT of your personal information and sometimes in great detail. These ' consumer lists', (GOOGLE references 'consumer lists' 35,800,000 times ), may come from your credit card company, a large chain store financing division, a data company specializing in real estate transactions, surveys, on or off line, it doesn't matter where it started, many of these ' consumer data lists', (GOOGLE references 'consumer data lists' 18,100,000 times ), are cross referenced consumer lists, (GOOGLE references 'cross referenced consumer lists' 12,200,000 times ), from two or three different sources. Medium to large corporations always want MORE PERSONAL INFORMATION about you, so they ask for your information like it is a requirement of doing business for you to respond with your personal information. Far to often, the fine print tells you they will share your personal information with another company owned by, or associated with, the company asking for your information. This is when Consumer Abuse jumps into over-drive. Quite often these 'other entities' they will share your personal data with are list management companies specializing in selling Consumer Data Reports. What can we do, call the authorities? Perhaps, but this will likely be a waste of time, who has jurisdiction, International law, federal law, state or provincial law, local authorities? Most of the time these ' law enforcement agencies' are quite certain which legal channels have the enforcement authority. For the last century governments in the western hemisphere have been brainwashing their citizens that the government will take care of us and protect us from criminals. ha ha ha ha ha ha HA! Today, more than ever, there is only one way to C.Y.A. ( cover your ass ), that's by using EXTREME due diligence and never EVER, accept any offers by mail ,email, or telephone that cannot supply you with a printed material package on the offer they are presenting. PLUS, always get a second opinion if the cost, or loss, will make an excessive financial burden on your quality of life. NEVER rush into anything, "If it won't be a good deal tomorrow, it's not like a good deal today".
