Hi. My name is Glenda Schloff. I live in beautiful Coos Bay on the coast of southern Oregon.
Our 5th Wheel

At the age of 48 I taught myself how to use the computer (took to it like a duck to water! :>) )... and now, a few years later I consider myself fairly knowledgeable. Always learning though, it's neverending.

I have two dogs, a SmoothCoat Chow Chow and a Pekingnese, both rescued. They're my babies.

I had tropical fish tanks before moving into a 37 foot fifth wheel to live. I miss them, but sure don't miss cleaning their tanks, ha!
I love to read, and research. I'm an avid book collector of varied subjects. I'm also an eclectic collector of all kinds of things. Love garage sales and 'really' love BOGO sales! LOL!

I love to crochet and want to do arts and crafts and learn how to make wire jewelry, my own planters and birdbaths. I love gardening too.

I have a guitar and a 5 string banjo, but don't know how to play either one of them. sigh...someday.......

I'm married 20 years this July to a great guy who is a Boom Truck Operator for a RailRoad Bridge Repair Crew who travels all over the United States. My goal is to earn enough money from my internet business to bring him home off the road. I am determined that that will be this year!

Trials & Tribulations....

I have not written in awhile.  It's been a sad time with
Doug Williams' passing and then I have had to go to
my mothers house 5 1/2-6 hours away to try to straighten
out her caretakers, which is family.

They have gotten in with some very shady people and
are doing methamphetimene and are no longer caring
for my mother the way she should be cared for.  She's
been nothing but good to them as have Ken and I.  And
this is how they repay us.

It's a very troublesome time right now.  I will have to
come up here just as often as I can to keep an eye out
for her.  I would like to move in but she doesn't like
the thought of my dogs being here.  She's afraid Bear
could knock her down, which he could in his exuberance
to see her if she's been gone awhile.

My nerves are frazzled.  So bear with me, I'll write more
as soon as I can...

Hi Glenda,
I hope things are better with you now. Please let us all know what is going on. You have many online friends who will willingly support you if you keep in touch.

My dear SeaLady: I can certainly understand your concern, and I know what attachments one can get to their pets, but were talking about your mother! If she is in as much danger as you suggest, then find a solution for Bear - don't jepordize your mother's well-being. You can't get another Mother at a pet shop!!!

Thanks Bee and Ranger for your kind comments.

Things are a bit better. My Mom is anyway. I have so much to catch up on it's not funny. I've got to get my site up and post to my blog more often, and to Quikonnex. Gosh I wish there were two of me! LOL.

Ranger I appreciate your comments and if I had to do that I would. But there are other alternatives too, I would build a fence in her back yard and keep a good eye on the dogs when they were inside.

I talk to my Mother almost every day and she says things are better and it's not so bad now. But I'm keeping an eye on things and her neighbor is helping me do that also.
