Hi. My name is Glenda Schloff. I live in beautiful Coos Bay on the coast of southern Oregon.
Our 5th Wheel

At the age of 48 I taught myself how to use the computer (took to it like a duck to water! :>) )... and now, a few years later I consider myself fairly knowledgeable. Always learning though, it's neverending.

I have two dogs, a SmoothCoat Chow Chow and a Pekingnese, both rescued. They're my babies.

I had tropical fish tanks before moving into a 37 foot fifth wheel to live. I miss them, but sure don't miss cleaning their tanks, ha!
I love to read, and research. I'm an avid book collector of varied subjects. I'm also an eclectic collector of all kinds of things. Love garage sales and 'really' love BOGO sales! LOL!

I love to crochet and want to do arts and crafts and learn how to make wire jewelry, my own planters and birdbaths. I love gardening too.

I have a guitar and a 5 string banjo, but don't know how to play either one of them. sigh...someday.......

I'm married 20 years this July to a great guy who is a Boom Truck Operator for a RailRoad Bridge Repair Crew who travels all over the United States. My goal is to earn enough money from my internet business to bring him home off the road. I am determined that that will be this year!

DNA & Food & Update

2006-03-24 @ 03:20:47 AM

News and Updates:

Reported on Out There TV on Tuesday of this Week:

Kate and Richard

GM (General Mills) is mixing human genes or DNA with food products, (only rice was
mentioned so far) such as rice cereals and will be on our supermarkets shelves shortly.
And they do not have to put anything about this on the labels.  So we won't even
KNOW that we're eating human genes or DNA.....can anyone say:
"Mad Cow Disease"?  We need to get this nipped in the bud right away!

Remember the movie I mentioned in an earlier post called "Soylent Green" With
Charleton Heston and Edgar G Robinson? In the movie, they were feeding people
crackers to people. Here we go!

**Out There TV reports the truth and tells you what mainstream media won't.
Remember:  The Truth Is Out There!

Bear And His Nose

I think I've finally found something to heal Bear's nose.  I've sent for it,
and cannot wait to try it.

It's called COLLOSATE

~~Description
Collasate is manufactured by PRN Pharmacal
A postoperative dressing that dramatically speeds healing activity. Natural collagen is its only
active ingredient. It absorbs wound exudate & helps to minimize bacteria, plus it forms an
occlusive barrier to maintain optimal temperature & moisture balance. Can be used on all
mammals, birds, & reptiles. Use for superficial or traumatic wounds, hot spots, de-clawing,
surgical sites, some ulcers, lick granulomas & dental extractions. Apply directly to wound then
cover with a non-stick dressing.~~

I read that it won't hurt if he licks it, so that's good to know.  Keep your fingers crossed for
him.  :) Poor baby.

By The Inch...Part Two

2006-03-18 @ 04:16:52 AM

THE INSANITY!!

And while I'm at it....  Callabasas California has banned smoking outside (in what I thought was free space) if any people are near.  They say "secondhand smoke kills".

Well, I've got news for them.  So does the crap that comes out of cars, planes, buses, trains, chemical plants, nuclear power plants, the stuff that pollutes our streams, rivers and oceans. So shall we go back to horse and buggy or bicycles?

Coughing and/or sneezing can kill too, so don't  cough or sneeze anywhere near me, and PLEASE don't shake my hand.  Germs, you know.  Don't kiss me either. Honestly!

People that live in Los Angeles breathe all that garbage in all day every day.  Have you ever flown over LA?  I have and there is a  huge thick layer of smog that I am sure consists of things that we should not be breathing.

C'mon people! Wake up and GET REAL!!  I think the zealots out there have got waaaayyyyy too much time on their hands.Honestly! Can't they find something better to fight?  Ummmm, gee, how about discrimination or racism for instance?  How about fighting to lengthen the time murderers or rapists have to spend in jail before they are even allowed to ask for an appeal?  How about  fighting to bring our sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers and cousins home from IRAQ?

My God, what's next?  People now BUY drinking water, which is still free. They BUY air for their tires, which is outrageous. Are the zealots going to bitch about certain people "breathing" in their air space?

I think these people have a lot of nerve and like I said before, they've got way, way, way too much time on their hands.  There are so many more important things to fight.  Pretty soon we'll see cities for smokers and cities for non-smokers.

STOP TAKING OUR FREEDOMS AWAY!!  We are losing more and more each and every day.  When are we going to get mad enough to stand up and say:  WE'RE MAD AS HELL AND WE AREN'T GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!?

Life is too short for all this harping, ridiculousness, pettiness and downright nastiness and evil.  Why does one group think they are any better than the next?  We all have skin.  We all bleed! Red blood!
We all put our pants on one leg at a time.  What makes these zealots think they are any better than me?
Why do they think they have the right to decide what is right or wrong for me?  They DON'T!  Who died and made them boss? grrrrrrr.

p.s.  George Burns smoked until he was over 100 years old!  My Aunt has never drank in her life, but she has cirrohsis of the liver.  Diseases can be inherited.  Certain people have a predisposition to get these diseases and certain people don't.  Let's stop picking on one another.  Whatever happened to the Golden Rule?  I thnk it's gone by the wayside.  Very very sad.

Part One...

                  This is a rant.....

I cannot believe what I heard on the news.

NorthWest Airlines is now charging extra to sit in a seat that has
extra leg room or if you want an aisle or emergency exit seat!! So
now we're going to be charged "by the inch' for more space.
Unbelievable. Oh, and they're also charging you for checking
your luggage.

I hope consumers boycott this.  This is ridiculous.   For those that
need to fly often , this is just another thorne in their side.

I know I won't use that  particular airline anymore.  They say that
other airlines will probably follow their lead soon, I sure hope not.
If they do, I guess my flying days are over. I am so tired of my
pocketbook being gouged.  I hope we  have tons and tons of
disgruntled passengers that will fight this. I want consumers to
stand up and say:  I'M MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT
GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!

They charge us way to much to fly as it is and we get less and less
in services.  You have to bring your own food because all you get
on the plane anymore is just a "snack".

So what do you say Consumers? If enough consumers boycott
or complain, maybe we can nip this in the bud before other
airlines follow suit and start their gouging.

Part Two Tomorrow...

Tomorrow!

2006-03-12 @ 12:16:41 PM

I read this article by Ron Hutton and just roared.  I kept saying:  yep, yep, yep.  LOL.  My husbands' favorite mantra is:  "I'll do it tomorrow", so when I read this  I just had to post it.   :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We'll fix that later..."
(C) Ron Hutton - PlugInProfitToolbox.com
=================================================
    Wife: "Hey honey, the brakes seem to be leaking on my car."
  Husband: "We'll fix that later." (BAD ANSWER)
    Wife: "Hey honey, how's the new website coming along?"
  Husband: "It's up and live!  It may not be perfect, but we'll
fix that later." (GOOD ANSWER)
    Wife: "Hey honey, the sewer is backing up and the toilet is
overflowing all over the master bathroom floor."
  Husband: "We'll fix that later." (BAD ANSWER)
    Wife: "Hey honey, have you started with that electronic
newsletter you were talking about?"
  Husband: "I did!  The first issue went out yesterday.  It's no
Pulitzer Prize candidate, but we'll fix that later." (GOOD
ANSWER)
    Wife: "Hey honey, the dog just 'blew chunks' all over the pile
of freshly folded laundry."
  Husband: "We'll fix that later." (BAD ANSWER)
    Wife: "Hey honey, did you ever finish the ebook you had hoped to
write?"
  Husband: "Ya baby!... and I've sold 4 copies from my Google
AdWords traffic just today." (GOOD ANSWER)
  "We'll fix that later."  Incorporate this short little, very
powerful sentence into your vocabulary today.  These are not
swear words.  It's a deadly trap to get caught in the mindset
that everything needs to be perfect before you ever announce
anything to the world.
  Look around the internet...
 ~ How many ugly websites do you see?
 ~ How many cheesy ebooks have you downloaded?
 ~ How many glitchy software applications do you use every day?
  Perfection is an illusion.  It'll never happen.  Don't let the
pursuit of perfection become an ideal that results in inaction.
  Jim Rohn tells this story...
  A man was visiting a neighbor's new home site.  The neighbor
had been collecting building materials on his bare vacant lot for
years now.  He'd amassed an incredible collection of lumber,
windows, plumbing and lighting fixtures, doors, concrete block,
shingles, siding, drywall and much more.  Everything was stacked
in mountainous piles around the barren dirt lot.
  The man said to his neighbor, "It looks like you're going to
have quite a house here."
  The neighbor replied, "Just wait till you see the rest of the
stuff I've got coming."
  The moral of the story is stop collecting "stuff" and start
building something.  Do it now.  Forward motion, even just a
little, will have profound effects on what you see in the days
ahead.
