Avoid...read more The guy on the show is with Charity Navigator and he said do not give to anyone that calls you on the phone or to any telemarketer stating they are a charity organization. The "REAL" charities will be too busy to be calling anyone. If you do receive a phone call, get their number and call them back. If you decide you want to go and volunteer your services, do not go on your own. Go through The Red Cross or FEMA because you will need to be trained. Please pass on this information to everyone you can.
