Sorrow....

I received a call tonight from my mothers caretaker and mom was moved to Hospice yesterday.  Tonight she ate her dinner, then shortly after was having trouble breathing so they put the bi-pap back on her and gave her morphine.  So I guess this is the end.

I called my sister and then my son through Red Cross since he's in the Air Force.  And I'll be flying up there tomorrow.  So I'll be gone for a bit.  Just thought I'd let you know.

I've been dealing with this and tons more since summer.  My family has just been torn up by my daughter and granddaughter.  They're both on Meth.  They've totaled my mothers home of 29 years and now they've killed her.

I believe she is going to a better place and that the Almighty will make her an angel.  She sure deserves it.

I'll write after I get back, when I'm able.

update:  Mom is in the hospital again. Please say a prayer for her?

Mom's caretaker called me last night and told me that things at my moms house is much worse than any of us knew.  The girls and their creepy "friends" have just torn the place up inside including the beautiful woodwork.  Why would they destroy the woodwork?  I don't understand.

The caretaker says it's just garbage throughout.  The girls have gotten out (by policemen) and told not to ever go back or to break in.  I'm sure they listened. ::sigh::

Saga continued...part 2...

And The Saga Continues.....

It's been over 5 months since my last post. I apologize for that.
Life intervened. It's been a pretty wild 5 months and it isn't over
yet. Things with my family have gone from bad to worse. Mom
was put back into the hospital 2 months later with pneumonia
again. She recuperated at a faster rate this time, but decided
she couldn't go home again because of what is going on there.
She feels it's too dangerous.

She won't let my sister or me move in to take care of her. She says
it would just be too hard on us. And really, it would be more me than
my sister, I'd end up having to take care of her too, she has a lot of
medical problems too. Mom feels though, that it would be too
dangerous for any of us to live in that house again, even if the bad
ones leave.

There are things in progress though that I can't talk about right now,
I just hope it ends soon.

Mom is in a nursing home/rehab and is moving to a foster care home
this coming Wednesday. She feels she'll like it there, it's a brand new
house and is run by good people according to her. I hope so. It's very
sad that my daughter and granddaugther chased mom out of her own
home to never return.

I heard that they have been having parties and are now selling moms
things out of her house. The way they've treated mom the last couple of
years is just unforgivable. Mom, for a long time couldn't 'see' and wouldn't
'believe' what was going on, I don't know what happened at the end there,
but she has finally seen the light.

Someday the girls will realize (if they ever get straight again) that they just
threw their family away and have broken our hearts.
I pray for them every night.

Trials & Tribulations....

I have not written in awhile.  It's been a sad time with
Doug Williams' passing and then I have had to go to
my mothers house 5 1/2-6 hours away to try to straighten
out her caretakers, which is family.

They have gotten in with some very shady people and
are doing methamphetimene and are no longer caring
for my mother the way she should be cared for.  She's
been nothing but good to them as have Ken and I.  And
this is how they repay us.

It's a very troublesome time right now.  I will have to
come up here just as often as I can to keep an eye out
for her.  I would like to move in but she doesn't like
the thought of my dogs being here.  She's afraid Bear
could knock her down, which he could in his exuberance
to see her if she's been gone awhile.

My nerves are frazzled.  So bear with me, I'll write more
as soon as I can...

KUDO's To Gmail!

You Go Gmail! And A Big Hearty Thank You!

AOL wants to charge the big guys money to get around their spam filters
in order to assure their email gets to AOL members.

I call this EXTORTION!!

AOL "thought" that other big guns would follow suit.  But Gmail surprised them
by stating:   "Gmail does not accept payment to bypass it's filters, nor are there
plans to charge senders to read Gmail users."  Read the full article here.

KUDO'S to you Gmail. 

You know, when all this crap started about "spam" I couldn't believe what
I read. I feel this way:  Your email is YOUR email.  If you join a program
or sign up for something on the internet or enter a sweepstakes or contest,
most likely you are granting permission to receive email from them and their
partners.

Ok, so then when you receive all this extra email, should you complain about
it?  No!  After all, YOU signed up, THEY didn't FORCE you to, therefore,
it's YOUR fault you are receiving all this extra email.

Now, one more point I have:  If your snail mailperson stood out
on the sidewalk and started looking through your mail and decided FOR YOU
what he/she deems you should receive or not receive, wouldn't you be just
a tad FURIOUS?  Yeh?  I thought so.

So why do you think that email is any different?  I HATE spam filters.  It's
no one's business what I receive in my email box and no one but me should
decide whether I want it or not.

THERE IS A BUTTON ON YOUR KEYBOARD CALLED "DELETE".

If you get email you don't wish to receive, DELETE it or unsubscribe from
those places.

SHEESH! Don't cause probelms for those of us that DO want to receive
ALL of our email.

Seems there's always one rotten apple in the bottom of the barrel that
wants to spoil things for the rest of us.  Tsk Tsk.  How sad.
