Olive Oil - For Your Health

How is your Health? Over Weight? Lack of exercise?

Do you want to change your habits?

Start with one thing at a time.

How about your eating habits?

Do you like fried food? Well if you do then at least

start using Olive Oil, Cold-Pressed or Extra-Virgin,

preferrably.

The Healthy Oil

My husband has more weight on him than he should

have, matter of fact, so do I. He has always been a

big guy, mine comes and goes. Lately I would say it is from

sitting at the computer too much. But what can I say? If a

person wants to have a Home Business then you pick the one

thing that has a possibly of making you some money.

You don't have to leave the house so it doesn't cost you

much. It is something most people can learn as long as they

are willing to put in the time and work steadily. Well with

dial-up, it takes a lot of time.lol

My biggest problem is remembering it is a job so it has

to be treated like a job. Keeping from being distracted

is a job in itself.

See, I was distracted. lol. What I was talking about

originally was your health. Well our health.

My husband mostly likes his food fried. So when I

discovered Cold-pressed Olive Oil I started using

it for frying. When my husband had his

blood checked for the bad cholesterol it was at a

safe level. I credit that to the Olive Oil.

It is the only oil I use.
The Best Oil

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is one of the few oils that

can be eaten without chemical processing.

(Nearly every other vegetable oil has been detoxified

and refined with steam and solvents).

Bryden's Snow

Well winter may be here! I hope it isn't but I think there is a good chance that it is.

When it first became cold and it started snowing, I just wanted to hibernate. Or go south for the winter, like the Snow Birds. lol Not that the snow stuck around. It melted as fast as it hit the ground!

What I did do though, was go see my grandson! Now that's as good as any day in the Spring! ( Which won't be for another six or seven months). Poor sweetie has a cold! Not a really bad one but enough that when his mom cleans his nose he raises a howl! (He can out howl the coyotes that our German Shepherd barks at every night! lol).

Anyway, he still thinks the half hour he sleeps whenever he eats is plenty of sleep, thank you very much! He does sleep longer at night but he does like to frustrate his mom. He doesn't seem to think that sleep is all that highly rated. lol  He did sleep until four thirty one night of the nights I was there though.

He is sitting up now, so his mom can get a few more jobs done during the day. He will sit and play with his toys.

He sure has the sweetest smile! You should see the song and dance his mom, dad and grandma go through just to see that smile. lol

Well I had better explain the title I have for this blog; Just after I got back from my grandson's it started snowing again. We were blanketed in about two or three inches of wet snow. I was out helping my husband the next morning in the shop. (We farm but he is also a welder)  I didn't look forward to going outside. It meant getting on my winter coat and my winter boots. That first few times is always a pain.

Anyway once I was out there I realized , "this is Bryden snow". Meaning that if he was old enough we would be out making a snowman!  It didn't feel all that cold out either. Not like it did when it was snowing and melting on the ground. Really as long as you are dressed warm enough it doesn't matter how cold it gets. The only time when it can be dangerous is if the wind is blowing. Then the wind chill can freeze exposed skin in minutes.

This snow was just right for building a snowman and making snowballs. The temperature was only around 0*C or 32*F so it wasn't too cold or too warm out.

So from now on, the perfect snowman snow will be Bryden Snow!!
