Now you need to think about the size of your bear, my partner above is a typical 15" plush fully jointed bear.
You will have to decide on a jointed ted or not. I personally like jointed bears, they seem to have a lot more going for them, plus I like to pose. I mean I like to be able to put the bear in poseable positions - its great fun.
I will be putting some easy to make patterns online soon, so keep a watch out for them.
The type of material is always difficult. There are so many to choose from. High quality Mohair from the U.K.,  Germany and now from the Far East. Synthetic materials, plush, polished, dull finish, long pile, short. All give a different look to your ted, even from the same pattern you can get a completely different look.
