| Season's Greetings -The Joy Of Giving Editor's Comment
We're coming into the Christmas Season. It should be time for hugs and warmth and sharing a joyous time with family members and friends both near and far. I saw an LCP in the Traffic Exchanges of this man named Cschulzetx ... a European, and I make that distinction diliberately because I find them as warm and as effusive as he looks - he is hugging a young child - his main message wishing all Season's Greetings. It is so warm and appealing. We tend to think that Christmas is for Kids in our western culture. Saying this and covering it up with expensive gifts covers the true meaning many people hold within as a personal feeling that Christmas is all about the Birth of Jesus Christ. Have we forgot the true meaning of Christmas? While the politics of religion will rear its ugly head, the argument of decorated Christmas trees, Santa and his reindeer and elves, will become the normal fodder for the argument they are part of the westernized pagan ritual Christmas has been turned into. Both sides will do more harm to the real celebrations of HIS birth in order to win some inane battle of how we should all be celebrating this joyous season. Remember the Three Wise men brought gifts. Fran Your Editor and Team Leader ***@@@***###***$$$***@@@***###***$$$*** The Joy of Giving at Christmas Season While most American marketers were sitting with family members, enjoying that satisfied feeling supplied with turkey and the trimmings, A few of us diehards held an impromtu conference on how to turn Christmas to our advantage. You could have joined us. Do you attend conferences? If you did then you knew we were going to hold it for those that felt like attending and what the subject matter would be. Maybe you will be one of the many subscribers who will benefit from the results of this meeting? Two Traffic Exchange onwers were there as well who will be planning their gifts for you. Xmas - Christmas marketing and sensitivity For many, Christmas has become way too mercenary. We discussed ways we could turn that around and thank our loyal hard-working subscribers with a free Christmas gift. A way of saying thank you for sticking with their marketing strategies and making a real difference. By giving gifts away, you will become known for your sensitivity to the sacred part of the Christmas season and its religious meaning. Are you ready to make the Christmas Season, the most profitable time of the year, pay off in your marketing efforts? Most new marketers are not. Thus the ideas we discussed can be tested even at this late date for planning and executing a good deed. What is discovered, in our testing, will play well for postive results for Christmas Season marketing next year. Do you know what 'December 10 Black Monday' [Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - Sunday ] means off line? Do you have a clue as to how to turn that date to your advantage on line? What does this statement made mean to you ... "Be proactive instead of reactive?" What was learned at this conference will help those who attended make sure their Christmas Season marketing for next year is set up and ready to roll in a timely marketing fashion, bringing them in the profitable results they aim for. Do you understand the power of campaigns? Do you know how to set one up? Maybe you need to take another look at our Thursday and Sunday conferences and put them on your priority mus attend list? A special thank you to those members who cared to show and make this conference so special. Thank you for your feedback, your insights and your enthusiasm. From our house to your house, may the true meaning of Christmas be a blessing to you and yours.
