The Tuesday File - Christmas Blues and Dos

The Tuesday File - Christmas Blues and Dos

Editor's Comments:

A hearty welcome to all the new team members who have just joined the GJW family of programs.  Watch for my welcome mail.

Were you on the ball and got to take adveantage of the three-day surf-a-rama at 10khits4unow?  Some will - some won't.  Those that  did will now have the credits they need to get their Christmas campaigns out there.  Those that did not will have one more thing to complain about how the net just does not work for them.

Pro-active marketers know they need to stay on top of business whether they are out to make enough to cover a car or mortgage payment or are deep down serious about an online business.

Look at the MoneyLegs free members who just did not see the value in upgrading for a one time life time $49.95 - they could have  Christmas cash

There is still time to fatten your account.  We all need to recover from the cost of Christmas.  Go do it now.   Invest in you and invest in your long term profitability.  Give yourself the Christmas gift that pays all year round.

Be on Guard The Christmas Grinches are loose

Spammers are getting sharper with those subject lines, like  ...
  •     confirmation link
  •     You have a greeting -is making the rounds again
  •     Where Have You Been -like an old friend but not.
  •     It could be you
Yep it could be you falling into the trap of opening mails that will cause you grief.  Resist the temptation and stick to the mail that builds your reasons for being online.  These are distractions at best and computer misery at worst.

On The Lighter Side

I have often seen parts of this printed to suit the writer and to help them make their point.  I suppose all is in the interpretation but for those of you who have also wondered, here is the 'rest of the story ...

Those that can do.
Those that can't teach.
Those that can't teach, teach teachers.
Those that can't teach teachers write books.
Those that can't write books become managers.
Those that can't manage become management consultants.
And the rest become politicians.

Kwality Korner Tips & Tricks

Not able to view some websites? This question was put to me in an e-mail and I lead the person through a lot of great steps just to make sure they could see the pages properly but I forgot ONE MAJOR  bit of advice.

If you browse the web with java script turned off, that will also prevent you from viewing certain sites or even from using the ones pertinent to YOUR program choices.

You cannot produce a web site which will work for all. Some will have Java turned off or use features unique to their browser etc... So make sure you are checking out if you  have java script enabled or disabled.

Christmas Season Record Keeping Blues.

Maybe it is because Christmas is coming.  Maybe it is just that for all my attempts at keeping organized and using my  time  wisely, I still bite the bullet on simple record keeping that gives me time wasting headaches.

I love to write.  I probably write more than I talk and for those of you who know me, I sure love to talk.

Maybe it is all that research I am consistently doing to provide you with Blog topics that help you grow your online  marketing  expertise that keeps my mind in a whirlwind of great information I have just got to share with you.

Whether in a training session or in a conference, it really is pleasing to have your feedback that you always take  something of  value away from our discussions.  That is so kool to hear.

Now back to my latest time wasting Christmas Season Blues mess.  I f you do not know that Blogging is the best way to build your business, then get with the picture, get a Blog going and go for the gusto.  You will never regret it.

So here I am today going thru my files of information looking for the right topic to discuss in this portion of the newsletter  and I  am going nutso rechecking to see what has been posted and what has not.

Three messes stare me dead centre of the frustrated eyeballs.

1. I forgot to add posted at the top of the items I have already used.

2. I forgot to move those items to my posted folder.

3.  I have no defining record of what has been posted in my two Blogs and that means a whole lot of work to do.

When I do my mail each day, I run across ideas and information for new Blog postings.  As a result, I get into the research mode and  do up bits and pieces that I keep in my different folders for each topic I wish to cover.   That  never leaves me short of Blog  posts.

However, when you take a piece from this folder and a piece from that folder, you soon have one royal mess of filing to correct.

So unless you want to duplcate my silliness, and become an efficiEnt time waster then I suggest you keep all information used  in a folder per issue you put out.

It really isn't blogging that is hard, it is all that blamed record keeping you better keep on top of.

It's A Changing World

Team Blog Kwality Korner -

It's A Changing World ...

                            For People and Technology

It's a big world after all ... and inside its vast boundaries are millions and millions of walking, talking two-legged human beings full of longing and dreams that just might come true one day.

As we move through each phase of our lives, grow with our experiences and move upward, we hope, but as we do, we often miss the value of the changes we have undergone to get where we end up.

The changes I have undergone put me ahead of the pupil more times than not and I find myself needing to pull up and slow down a bit in order that they might catch up to what they really need to know.

It might be a good idea for you to consider as well.  Once you come on line and begin your journey, you are no longer new.  Each time you attend a class or conference or learn and do something new, your experience level has changed. The new people who join you will need your expert advice on how to cope with all the new changes they will face too.  Remembering that you were new once upon a time will help you help them to face technology changes without confusion.

In the case I am alluding to, it has to do with using our great auto responder.  It IS sequential, you can use it to broadcast your mail messages to your customers, create ads that can also be inclusive in your promotions, create follow-up mails and so much more.

From People to Auto Respponders - Change is Great

I teach a simple step-by-step class on how to use it in conjunction with follow-up emails for 10khits4unow. if you are watching your mail then you know now is the time to upgrade in 10khits4unow.
using  te auto responder will be on of those inclusive trainings you will be eligible for when you do upgrade.

There is two very important items that are not extras out of your pocket for upgrading, your follow-up e=mails and your auto responder. Heck there is actually a third freebie that come with that upgrading - your training to use it all.

There are a  ton of things you can do with this auto responder, that you are best to investigate and read up on your own. In a fast-paced Internet marketing world of just do, some of us feel so much better taking our time, reading and testing as we learn to do.

If you hate change so much you prefer to have someone else show you how to cope with learning about technology and about the Auto Responder then be sure to attend the workshops you will find listed in your back office in the conference schedules.

We will be happy to show you that change can be a good thing.

Why Business Formulas Seldom Work

Why Business Formulas Seldom Work

I watch the TEs I surf for your promotions. Surprisingly, I see very few of them. I belong to 45 of them so I should see you now and then. Business forumulas do not work if they are not used.

I watch to see how many of you show up at our weekly conferences.  Again and maybe not so surprisingly, I see you show, sit, listen in and say very little if anything. Then I see you leave - with maybe a "good conference" or a  "good night."  Not very many clues there to decipher your needs or understanding of the business forumla discussed.

So the thought strikes out at me.  What is your problem?  what is going on here that we are missing?  Or that may be better put, what are you failing to understan that make your promotional efforts suck?

Could your personal agenda be why our business forumula does not work?

Not that our business formula isn't clearly stated.  Not that you do not get the message. Rather it might be that you are not comfortable with some part of the business strategy?  Is that the problem?

For some marketers, their personal regard or sense of self respect is challenged by what it is you think the owner is presenting as a business strategy.  In this case, you would be missing out on what you could be learning by testing the business formula.  It IS legal, it  IS proven to work and it is thae same busIness formula, that same strategy, that brought you into the programs to begin with.

However, there is no proving the sponsor methods were done correctly or did not deviate from the core business strategy.   That is a decision you get to make as you discover and follow the original core strategy

Eventually, you too will find ways to increase the interest of prospects.  You too will test the waters of what you find works vs the core principles of the time tested proven business strategy you should be following.

Part of continuous improvement is knowing what didn't work.  Are you guilty of ignoring failed experiments in your core business formula testing?

Only when you understand the full impact of any marketing strategy, can you safely deviate to make your prospecting that much easier.  If you so choose to try it your way without due consideration to the original business strategy, you will probably fail.

You will not see your new leads turn into active members.  You will not grow your own contact list and you will be in the perfect negative position to blame the program, your sponsor, the owner or just feel advertising does not work.

No mattter how you look at a core business formula, improvisation requires structure.

The secret to successful improvisation [or deviation from the original), is to be sure you are properly using the formula provided in order that you understand the basic forms.

Do a little homework. Study, research and implement the original structured business strategy.  Then create or use the splash and squeeze pages all ready in your back office and get promoting your program choices.

Put your work on trackers, make notes and come up with your own ways to improvise on your promotional strategies. It is only when you fully understand the basic form that you can freely abandon the original core strategy.

Attend the conferences with an open mind, really listen this round and have a list of questions ready to ask from your work. Grow with our business formula, teach yourself to understand it rather than hold your self back because you do not want to test the strategy or maybe just talk about it.

Leadership Integrity - the Crossroads of Change

Leadership Integrity - the  Crossroads of Change

"The people's capacity to achieve is determined by their leader's ability to empower."

John C. Maxwell
The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership

On Two Thursday past I listened as our leader Rob Gehring,  offered other Traffic Exchange owners the chance to empower themselves  with  the same forthright integrity he runs his business by.

When you hear the passion of a Leader standing alone in a jungle of tigers ready to rip him apart for daring to challenge what he  believes is disingenuous to their membership, it sends shivers up your spine.

Leadership integrity is never easy, and is never supposed to be. It may be the most difficult of all personal qualities to hold intact because of its complicated nature and the multiplicity of it dimensions.

It is in this corporate part of our business building we all find ourselves at the crossroads of change.  Strangely enough, we are going backwards.  Back to a time of integrity.  Where real men and women were  not shy about standing up for fair play for themselves or for their organizations.

As you and I look to our leaders for the guidance we seek, so it is that we need to become intrespective about our personal  integrity.   How many 'white lies' do we tell ourselves to cover this action  and that?  Of course, they are harmless  yes?  Sort of one-time errors of omission we won't do again?

Leadership Integrity involves the three R’s: Respect for self;  Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.

Of all the qualities a leader must possess, integrity may be the most important one of them all.

What do you think?
