Making a mistake can ofen pay off huge dividends in traffic to your
web site. Just like copping an attitude can sometimes win the day.

Cop a 'tude dude

Dare to be different. That is what will earn you a route through the
millions of other marketers swimming and drowning out there on the Net.

Don't be a hype master or a BS type. That is not the idea at all.

But if you are going to be the CEO,if you are going to run a successful
business on the Internet, then you need to decide from square one that
you have the right attitude to make it happen.

Branding You With Personality

Remember the hit series Kojak? Now that was one police dude with 'tude.
He knew his job, be played his role to the hilt and sucker in his mouth
or just plain telling like it is, he could make you love him one second
and hate him the next but he never changed who he was.

Branding your personality is a must. It forms an integral part of creating
branding. The way you talk comes through in the way you write and
you will soon pick up recognition.

That's why you need a Blog as well. Instant communications with your
team members and branding your personality as the leader they want
to work with.

Did you choose a domain name that reflects your product or service you
offer? That is another part of branding. The physical part of who you are and
what your online business is all about.

Now you are ready with your postings or even your web copy to create the
emotional challenge of branding your business so you are memorable.

Using CSS for more advanced web site designers

Web compliant CSS [cascading style sheets -see wc3 guidelines] came on the scene in 1996. Since that time CSS has been butchered, played with and often times squeaked its way through to some fine web page creations.

The potential of CSS has been well established by high-powered mainstream sites,and though CSS sort of languished since its creation in 1996, it is once again becoming the defacto means by which site design is built.

Although using style sheets can afford you an unprecedented level of control over your site's design, no technology is a silver bullet. While CSS has been elevated to near buzzword status, it is important to remember that style sheets are merely a tool to be used in the overall design and the development of your web site.

it should be viewed in the context of your site's entire life cycle, covering at least an understanding of the following:

Understanding your website's scope
Establishing the goals for your web site
Including the fundamentals of information architecture/navigation.

So before firing up photoshop or adobe or creating so much as one line of coding, you need to be making sure you have produced a well-reasoned scope statement.

There is so much more to this subject, but for the moment, if you are CSS bent on web design, then make sure you have the right tools, right insights and the complete website design at least outlined so that CSS can create the high-powered professional looking site you have in mind.

Getting Started The Right Way Part II

There can be a lot of reasons that you will not get the right start in beginning your online business ventures, but I think there are two in particular that will stop you from desired success.

Getting started the right way

It's all about establishing an Internet presence. That means forget the dollar signs in your
eyes that make your eyes glow and your heart skip a beat in those hottie e-mail offers.

As you start out, you are far too gullible. naive perhaps, in believing what you read. You
tend to take what may be an honest offer at face value rather than think it through
before you sign up.

When you put money first, you lose.

The second issue that will stop you, is believing the more opportunities you belong to,
the better your chance of making the elusive dollar. This concept requires the skills
of a very experienced marketer.

I'll say it again, success is all about establishing an Internet presence.

You have this great idea, will soon be developing the web site that will set the Web
on its ear. But until you do, until you figure out the how and why of branding you,
just like the big companies brand their name, you will never be found let alone make
the income you desire.

Creating The CAll To Action

Do the foundational work first and your call to action just might earn you the

Create a master folder for Traffic Exchanges.

Within the master folder,create a folder for each
Traffic Exchange.

List all the traffic exchanges you belong to
whether you promote them or not.
    i) LIST the log in URL
    II) List your Username and/or ID#
    iii) List your password
    iv) List your start URL
    v) List your referral URL

List all the websites you promote in each one under
the Traffic Exchange name ...
List any banners or text links promoted.
List any classified, ffa or safelist ads promoting
them or your business.

Getting organized is paramount to saving you time
and money. If your files are a mess then begin
