Working Forums For Business ResultsWorking forums is overlooked as a powerful way to increase sign ups and conversion rates for better business results. You need a good series of signature files that create the curiosity to know more about what you wish to promote. By having several signature files that apply to your main business, your website pages, your Blog entries etc you put yourself in the position of creating interest to your promotions. How to work forums1. Choose a business or product or service or even a hobby that you are passionate about.2. Make sure you have a page or more of value content on your website about what you wish to promote. 3. If you use a Blog in place of a web site, you will need a few good posts on your subject. 4. Look for and join forums that deal with your hobby, business or Blogs style. 5. Join the forums and say hello, tell people in their welcome area or by their FAQ requirements, to be a poster, something about yourself. IF they have a profile section, then do be sharp here and fill it out. Your contact info will be there for them to always know how to reach you. 6. AVOID posting your email addresses in order to cut down on spam replies. Giving a telephone number and IM chat entries will serve your efforts much faster and target your responses. Give your contact email address to serious repliers. 7. IF your web pages, Landing pages, LCpages and splash pages are properly set up, then you can turn your name UNDER your picture into an email address. Again use this technique to avoid spam mailers. 8. Now that you are ready to use the forums with manners and in a way that avoids you being kicked out or flamed, post a question about your business. Something short but able to create an interest and response from other members. 9. Check out expressed opinions by other posters on topic relevant to your business choices you are looking for responses to. 10. Post a reply of value to a entry. Be friendly and helpful. 10. Be sure to leave good helpful comments to posts you like. Search engines pick up good comments as well as posts so be considerate and sharp here. 11. In another thread, post an opinion to your own questions asked. All of this can take less than 10 minutes per forum to set up and get in motion. It will be something you will be happy to do in the first place and continue on a weekly basis. 12. Most forums permit a signature file and limit the lines. Keep it short and enticing and you will get viewers to your posts checking you out. The time involved in using this simple method, is spent in having your pages ready for viewing and creating a good selection of signature files. Once the pieces are all in place, then working forums becomes a short action producing greater business results as you become good at what you are doing. The links that you previously places will always be visible. Just think here for a second, with every new link you place, you will be exponentially increasing the number of visitors to your pages. Thinking ahead to ResultsLet's look at a $5 product - that is the commission you will make on any given salefor a product. If you do the above work just once per week in say five forums and make just ONE sale per post per week, that is $25x50 weeks or $1,250 per year. Can you imagine the income working forums could make you if your primary business offer makes you a larger commission per sign up or sale IF the forums you choose are looking for that product or service? Don't be a spammer, be a value poster and you will soon be successfully working forums for better business results. New program New ProblemsIt never fails to amaze me that when a new program comes on line, the herd run pell-mell in to another time consuming headache they are NOT prepared to work. Income does not follow blunders. Income does not follow the herd Income does come about when you are prepared to work a new program. Income does come about when you have a good list to connect with and promote your new venture. Income does not follow because someone says this is a good program to join. Income does follow when you take the time to investigate the business model and KNOW you have the skills to execute a success strategy. Income does not follow because they promise great returns. Income does follow because you have a budget that allows you to upgrade, take full advantage of what the system offers, and you have all of the above skills, opportunity understanding and your list ready to roll. Pareto Rule, Marketing Strategies And YouHow does the pareto rule affect your success ratio in choosing marketing strategies that may not effectively work for you? E-mail Challenges and Junk MailThe idea was to cut back on the spam sends and the junk mail that seems to challenge my e-mail accounts. My e-mail accounts are getting out of hand. Fact is they have been out of hand for months now. Thus it was time to do a little house cleaning. E-mail Challenges I learned something testing with challenge mail settings on my security programs ... a good 90% of incoming mail from so-called expert gurus gets returned when you ask them to confirm their intent. Sure I signed up with them who knows when. Yes I have whitelisted them, yet there are times we, as users, need to clean our lists as well. I even set up a nice message that told them due to spam increases in my mail, I was asking all to confirm their e-mail addresses. I have received so many bounces, it is a woonder my ISP has not shut down my mail accounts. Gosh Frannie, didn't you know they mostly use the no-reply feature, that they use broadcast auto responders and really do not give a darn whether it is inconveniencing to you that support contact is lacking - unless of course, it is to buy from them. Spam/Junk Mail issues Like a good neighbor, I set up e-mail filters. The idea is to cut back on the spam sends and the junk mail that seems to challenge my e-mail accounts. I have to wonder if my ISP is not in cahoots with these spammers. How come their junk and spam keep right on coming and I am missing important mails? Good luck my friends if you think e-mail filters stop the spam and junk mail by any degree of expectation. At best, it stops the real mail you do want to receive. My good mail may be whitelisted in my address books, and in my security allowance areas, it seems to make little difference. Those senders are the best darned 'hackers' I have ever seen. They know more about microsoft and e-mail accounts as well as the TOS of my ISP than the worse virus senders. I bet my mail filters, for this style of junk, run several printed pages of what NOT to let in, yet still they keep on coming. They want to compare sizes of something I do not have. Want me to be the sex king of the women in my life. They know something about me I don't know? Sometimes their subject lines are a whole lot off the wall and I am sure if you and I tried them, we would be black-listed. They've grabbed my e-mail account on one of my web sites and are sending ME offers using the damned thing! How stupid can they get? If you are getting them just know I do NOT send out offers to anyone in the mail. Any offer will be via a LCP and lead you to my site. I HATE SPAM! So no way will I contribute to this crap mail. The worse part is, if you are interested in Search Engine traffic then that mail account must be visible on your web pages. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. The Challenges of Mail Deliverability Ever notice our mail deliverablility goes down daily while their junk and spam mail increases? Nice stats for a business woman, or man for that matter, to have to face. And the idea we just have to suck it up is NOT a satisfactory deal either. I can close down hotmail, I can close down gmail and other accounts that load my mail with junk and spam but I cannot close down my web sites. That is having to go a wee step too far. So what can we do? If you have ideas that work for you then share them with me and others in blog comments or IM chats or in forums. Meantime, my next research project with be dealing with e-mail - how to control the unquenchable beast, I better get it done before I pull out all my hair in utter frustration. Keep an eye out for it. It will probably end up a viral report you can use to send to your subscribers as well. Hocus Pocus Focus - What The Heck Is Focus?Focus is one of those funny words. Says a whole lot of nothing but chock full of negative power to someone who fails to heed the message. Chris is making his famous version of Spaghetti sauce. Stirring vigilantly, his focus is disturbed by a question about something added. He turns his head away and whammo ... nice pot burn. When someone asked what that particular taste is, do we respond 'the Chris distractor factor'? The focusing principle is key to the success of any planned action. However, how the focus factor is employed can mean the difference between $1 and a $100. or it can mean even less - zero return for effort. The lack of focus for profit, is never more apparent then when a promising new business associate takes the high road and starts jumping around from program to program. You can smell the fires of hocus pocus focus. They lost it. Dropped the ball - frustrated, in great need and totally bent on their own business demise. Anyone who feeds their desperation is their instant mentor. Part of the hard-way Jones school of hard knocks learner issues, is that they will not respond to your messages. They may be embarassed but more than likely, their lack of focus has them totally distracted from where they need to be. Right now, you are the last person they want to talk to. God help them when their new people return the same favor in kind. Strangely enough, when you do a focus factor review, you will find this desperate counterpart missed a very important lesson. When consistently focusing on customer needs, you find what your needs are as well. When you take that lesson one step further, spending your energies on providing consistent subscriber solutions, you are more than likely on track focusing on your own needed solutions. Now you no longer have a need to put the almighty $$DOLLAR$$ first in your personal needs. The $$DOLLARS$$ follow the right focused actions. No body gets paid for doing nothing; (hmm unless you are a politician.) there has to be something tangible needed by the customer and the right solution provided by you that creates the income flow. Explode Your List Building With Workable StrategiesIt never fails to amaze me that people want the best for the least amount of work. While $$ signs ring in their eyes, the brain goes on temporary vacation. Along comes a great new program or product you want to promote, but you miss the chance to explode your list building with workable strategies that pay off over and over again. 1. You need workable strategies of how to approach the promotions of any product, service or program before you go hitting the net with a referral link. The first time you do this is the hardest. It requires some thinking, listing of tools you have to work with,and a simple one, two, three workable strategy that will pay off every time you repeat the steps. 2. If you are not making building your contact list, YOUR personal contact list, the very first step in that workable strategy, then you are NOT building your business, instead, you are building the contact list of the owner. The next time you fill out a LCP [Lead Capture Page] form, make some notes on the actions you were required to take in order to get the download link or to get to the site where the sign up information is given. Each marketing promotional strategy may be a wee bit of a route but each step has its reasons. If you are sharp, if you pay attention, you will begin to see the contact list building strategy develop right before your eyes. 3. Setting up your personal contact list building strategy is more like a check list of things you need to test, items that move you from a one off- building the owner's list- to the difference in how each step builds your personal contact list. Creating templates of your web work means the next round, you only need to change the text content. You need to be branding yourself in all that you do, so having a nice template that relates your viewer to who you are can pay off handsome long term dividends. If you have always wanted to know how to set up a contact list marketing campaign, but never knew how to get started, the whole strategy is right in front of your eyes. Beat Confusion Stick To the BasicsWhen does confusion enter into your day? Say five minutes after you open your mail box? Amazing isn't it? All those demands that you join this or join that and if you do not you are bound to fail? Does this advice sound familiar?
How the heck are you supposed to keep up with all these new fandangled Internet Marketing tricks? It would confuse even an experienced marketer. There just isn't enough time in the day to work in all these new things, so I say, beat confusion, stick to the basics. The two places that will bring you in tons of targeted traffic are article writing organic and search engine traffic so that means you need a website if you do not want to be severely penalized by article directories and lack of search engine listings. There are tons of free HTML tutorials that will teach you web design and there is always our Moneylegs courses on splash page building that will aslo teach you how to use our wysiwyg web page creators. Another good solution is to become a Blogger You have to get known out there in the wild and wooly Internet so use the tools we provide to help you get known. Stick to the basics using email follow up Get familiar with our great auto responder. It is a great way to let your team know all about you, the programs you promote and why. Remember, if you can tell them what is in it for you, then you will attract like -minded people who will want that wiifm too. Those follow up emails are a great way to bring them back time and again to your website. How else will they know you even have a web site? The secret with your website is to continually be adding value content that keeps your reader enthused about what you have to offer. Are you committed to sticking with the basics? Program hopping and telling your people about the latest and greatest new find is a sure road to failure.You are program list building at best and testing a new program for a few weeks and moving on without that committment to testing and promoting properly and reporting your finds to your team, is another sure way to fail. The key to any new program is due diligence. Researching every thing you can find, forum postings good or bad and any google listings on that program before you take the leap and expect your innocent members who depend on you to follow you to defeat. Your success takes time and so does researching something new. A red flag always goes up with me on these one time offers (OTO) that demand instant action on your part before you have a chance to check them out. IF they are any good, IF they get rave reviews, IF they pay on time, IF they give good training, IF they are strong in the support you need, then they will still be around when you are ready to try them out. Sticking to the basics means growing your multiple streams of income slowly. There are way too many choices for you to make. If you are not careful, you will end up with tons of programs and no way to promote them, no time and no budget to keep them going. ONE step at a time, ONE program at a time, and ONE Complete campaign that allows you to automate your results is the only way to go. Learn how to do one successfully and the next one is easier. Most importantly, if you do not take this time to do these things then you will run up large credit card debt just by belonging. EVERY choice you make MUST be self sufficient in paying for the operating costs before you consider a new program. change is futile stick to the basics and develop sales resistance. Every new mail has something exciting in it. Something you feel you just have to have. Without it you will never succeed. Horsepucky!! Stay focused on your business goals. If this new offer has nothing in it that will build on your goals, then no matter how good it sounds, you do not need it. One great way to create sales resistance, is to tear that sales offer apart. Look at all the tricks they use, the verbage, how they use scarcity tactics, how they make you drool over this unknown product you will probably never use if you do buy it. Once you learn to do this, you will learn how to create your own sales copy or web copy or ads or LCP and Blog entries but you will also realize just how powerful action verbs are in psychologically attracting you and others to take their desired action. Thus you will develop a resistance to those juicy offers that will only distract you from your own focus and personal success. Beat confusion stick to the basics using reality We all find ourselves in any of the above positions, sometimes daily. But a reality check shows us we are not financially ready in most cases to work their offers successfully. We do not have the right business skills to carry off the promotional needs they recommend. We can end up hapless victims of our own desires by not making informed decisions about our own readiness BEFORE we consider these offers. Plant your feet firmly on the ground, get your head out of the clouds. Plan your work, work your plan. If you ask the right questions before you jump right in, then you will lower the risk of failure, make good decisions that build on your goals and that reality check will save you confusion. How to Become Overwhelmingly FrustratedHang on to the old, never look forward and never learn to priortize your business needs. It's January 2008 and I have a ton of Network Marketing promotions I need to get under control like yesterday. I am pushing the buttons of patience and consistency to such a degree that I am becoming overwhelmingly frustrated. When you have 10 web sites, three blogs and growing to look after, it is an easy step to overwhelming frustration. Where do I begin to change this picture? The same way I try to explain to you, one step at a time.
This is where having your plan set out, the little goals you need to complete to feel like you are doing something right with your network marketing, then being able to move on to the next thing, knowing you are on the right track. Confidence in what you are doing, and feeling somewhat of an online success in your network marketing comes from taking some form of action that leads to an accomplished goal. I don't know about you, but I sure am looking forward to checking off each step that shows me I can do this. I can work my success formula in smooth steps. The smooth feeling is what we all need to accomplish so we feel like we are productive and can show results. I'm already an expert on how to become overwhelmingly frustrated.
