Content May be King - But Only If It Is Value Content

Content May Be King BUT Only If It Is Value Content

Does your web content attract Search Engines?

I am sure the message that 'Content is King'  chokes your mail box as regularly as it floods mine.  And the idea that Value Content is the only way you can get like-minded traffic to convert or Search Engine placement is true to the core of every Marketing strategy.

Marketing strategies incorporating adsense content have been misused, have not been taught properly, have been argued about and have  left the majority of followers in the postion of being red flagged, their sites sandboxed or sent whistling into the nether regions of cyberspace.

Do a Google search on SEO forums and discover the frustrations felt by many members.  There are even threats of class action suits against Google.

Content Management Idea of Article Buying

Content management theories of buying articles so that you have consistent updated  web content is another popular offer flooding the net.  Is that an answer that pays off or is it a fallacy that has cost page ranking or lack of proper recognition?

Normally, it is the author that gets the Google recognition.  And Google is sharp on catching up to bylines, author's boxes and copyright attachments to these articles.

Do you really think posting the article of some name marketer is going to get you recognition?  Google only allows  recognition of that article ONCE and that recognition normally goes to the author.

Content providers have a field day churning out five different slants on the same article and selling them to hungry buyers in desperate need of web content. Many content providers will contract to provide you with as many articles as you are willing to pay for.  Now if those articles get out there fast and Google picks up your postings then your web content  will probably earn you Google ranking for the moment.

How long you will stay in your position is totally dependent on  who comes up with better articles, original articles and if they have done their homework, made sure the articles they are posting on their web sites are relevant to their particular niche or theme marketing strategy.

If only it was that easy.  Google has a whole system of ranking your sites that is apt to leave you frustrated.  Everything from landing pages to the number of articles, the theme or niche of your web site, the keyword placement,  the number of keywords and the originality of your articles play a role in getting your site spidered and ranked.  There is no room for questionable content.

Sandboxed - Red Flagged or Your Site is New

Each time Google changes its algorithms sites disappear.  Every time this happens you hear the roar go up of foul play.  If you have been unduly challenged then there is recourse but if you have used adsense content as your reason to  put up your web site, then there are rules you need to be aware of and follow to the letter.

If you are buying articles for your sites, then learn the lesson of how to do  wrap-around intro paragraphs to make it original to your website.  Make doubly sure the articles you select to publish are keyword rich and match the keywords that fit your website.  The bigger lesson is those articles need to be content rich with content value for your  viewers.

Whether Google actually does 'sandbox' sites is open to interpretation.  Is the term sandboxing real or a term coined by unhappy marketers who thought they could beat the system?

Targeted Traffic from Search Engines

If you have an interest in Search Engine traffic, then you need to learn the system and follow the rules.  Search  engines are the one major way left to  bring in scads of free targeted traffic.

Discovering how search engines can bring  consistent targeted traffic to your web site, is the whole reason you have put in the time and effort to create your web site.  If you  have only made a half-hearted attempt to use search engines for obtaining  targeted traffic, then there is no better time to discover how you can use them to leverage your business.

Just remember, original value content is king Pay attention to a few easily learned rules and  Google will be visiting you often.

"Sandboxed" by Google?

<

"Sandboxed" by Google?

For those interested in page ranking, the idea of the sandbox is in reality, a holding place Google places your site for several reasons.

  •     your site is very new and lacks content
  •     your site is very large and scattered in content
  •     your site just plain sucks
  •     your site uses redirects the wrong way
  •     you are infamous for back-dooring Google algorythms

The list goes on and the blame is what they refer to as a volleyball effect.  Volleyball is most popularly played as a beach game these days, and the team that can keep the ball in the air the longest is the team that scores the points.

Thus the blame game called the volleyball effect is the argument as to whether or not Google actually does employ a sandbox game with your sites.

Is the term Sandbox just one more excuse for lack of Google Page Rank?

More than page rank itself, the misdirected concept of the sandbox has created the latest list of excuses for why some websites just do not do well.  As a universal truth, this excuse just plain sucks.

If your website doesn't rank anywhere at all with a search egine,it is probably because it has no unique appeal.

For webmasters who believe Google is looking for theme-based websites and will index more of your pages that way, get over it. Google never has initiatied theme-based web sites nor is it likely to.

What has come out  of this belief, is very targeted home pages which in turn, creates more linking back to those targeted home pages.  The other plus is that in creating a theme site, the webmaster is more apt to create better content.

Now that targeted homepage and much better content is what will entice a spider to visit your website.

Try Advertising  and Promotion

New sites most often suffer "link dearth syndrome" - not enough links as well as a lack of good value content.

Link dearth is the direct result of two distinct possibilities. No one has ever heard of you, or people have heard of you but there's not enough value content to uniquely set you apart  from thousands of other similar sites.

Every new business has to start somewhere.  So take the time to learn how to market you and your online business.  There is not much point in just being online, you have to be in demand and that is a marketing excercise worthy of learning.

Internet Marketing For The Beginner - Part I

Gary Ambrose Calls it "YOU insted of ME" Marketing ...

I call it about time honest Internet marketing.

The 95% failure rate in new beginners making a success of their online  business plans have to be the result of the hyped up 'you've got to have this software, belong to this program, join MY specific program if you want to succeed' online offers.

What a way to get an education online the hard way while  incurring business debt!

When a new beginner comes online to start their first business venture, they are totally gullible, unknowing, have very little business education, are desperate for fast income, and
probably wasted all of two minutes saying 'I can do that" and
jumped off the nearest cliff right into the proverbial mess.

Due Diligence - empty words to most beginners

When you made your decision to create your own online business, who advised you to back off and do some Net reading?   Who suggested you list your interests, your business background, your general knowledge and go search for a business strategy that would fit what you know?

Dollars to doughnuts, you were told that you would succeed in  THEIR business if you did not commit a humungous fear-filled list of no-nos.

Pretty neat huh? Now you are all psyched up to succeed in  building THEIR  business according to THEIR  instructions.  Got to hand it to mentors who use reverse psychology to get YOU to do what THEY want the way they want.

How to Make "YOU" Marketing Work

  •     Make a list of your current skills
  •     Make a list of what you know you need to learn
  •     Stay small in plans Think big in how to accomplish them.
  •     Develop a tight focus on what is important to you
  •     Discover through research, niche markets that fit your plans
  •     Forget building massive lists, build quality lists of like-minded  people.
  •     STOP  adding every free bonus you come across to your pc.
  •     Think Bonus as relative to your business direction.
  •     Network with people who want to do what you want to do

And the major step? House clean every business opportunity you have joined that has not made you more than a nickel for your time.  If you are not making the promised revenue now, you never will.  Why?  Because you do not know how to nor do you have the time to promote them without discovering the knowledge you will need first.

Major step two?  Take the money you are saving now and invest it in learning from a mentor or mentors who can show you how to fit you into the profit you should be making. It is YOUR well thought out choice of home business you know you will stay commited to and focused on building that will create the success you are searching for.

I am so happy  you are my friend but that does not mean we share common business interests that will build our individual business plans.  When an exciting offer hits your mail box, it is not a must that you just have to join.  If it does not fit your focus, your plans, or leverage your business to the next level  then forget it. Your success  cannot be built on someone else's dream.
