IN MEMORIAM

Doug Williams

Memory Can Tell Us Only What We Were

Memory can tell us only what we were,

In company with those we loved;

It cannot help us find out what each of us,

Alone, must now become.

Yet, no person is really alone;

Those who live no more still echo

Within our thoughts and words,

And what they did has become

Woven into what we are.

With deepest sympathy to family and friends .. a light has gone out

Yes Fran, Doug will be missed. He is the first person I met on the internet. Over the years, we spent countless hours on the phone solving the world's problems. He taught me everything I know about the internet. May he rest in peace.
