I'm dying" Update...

"I'm dying" Update...

For those gentle readers who think I am on my last legs, let me assure you, there is loads of life left in this 'old' gal yet.

A short while before I published the first blog entry "I'm Dying", I suffered a series of  angina attacks.  While my previous two postings have dealt with TIA (stroke) affects, don't fool yourself that these two life-threatening diseases do not go hand-in-hand.

Stroke, heart attack and cancer are the three leading killers of the young and the old.   This trio are not a what comes first, the chicken or the egg question, but rather the effect of ignoring your body, your emotional and spiritual needs.  The game of life deals each one of us a hand of life issues.  How we choose to play the cards, decides what the jackpot will pay us.

Those angina attacks were a warning I could not afford to ignore.  They brought back the memories of who I was in younger years and how what I was doing brought me to this danger zone called stroke.

That was just the start of my journey to who I am today and why I would write this for you to think hard on.  If you are suffering from warning signs, then pay big time attention to your body responses and get help NOW not tomorrow or next week, do it NOW.

I am a survivor, writing this in first person as I believe it holds more weight than suggesting you buy the latest and greatest new preventative cure to common life-threatening disease that you NEVER get over.

IF you are lucky, you survive and learn to deal with the reality of who you are and what brought you to where your health issues are now.  If you fail to pay attention, then know history has a tendency to repeat itself.  Know the next time, you may not be so lucky.

To your continued Good Health
